Is it really that hard to make a sandwich? This is New York. Delis are supposed to be good. Is there really only ONEGOODDELI on all of Long Island, Se Port Deli? Old Field Country Deli has only 5 or 6 custom sandwiches on the wall. They are priced as high as anyone else, yet the meat is skimped out and they completely forget that DRESSINGSMAKE A SANDWICH. Their Turkey Delight or whatever it’s called is $ 7.99, barely 10 inches long, served with dry lettuce and tomato. No russian, no mayo, no mustard, no oil & vinegar, no ranch, no nothing. They actually give you a custom sandwich, charge you eight bucks and don’t have the presence of mind to come up with a unique dressing. Who would have thought that moving away from the Three Village Area would devastate my deli needs.
