Yankee Self Storage & Moving-We Haul

It took three phone calls from me, followed by one from the Consumer Protection Division of the District Attorney’s office, before Yankee Realty and Self Storage would refund the deposit I paid to rent a storage locker (which, after I swept it of the dirt and debris and removed the old cobwebs I found there, I left in better condition than I found it). After the Consumer Protection Division’s involvement, Yankee refunded my deposit, yet offered no apology or explanation for the lengths I had to go through to receive it.
This is a real estate and self-​storage company. If it is so dishonest in its relations with those to whom it rents storage lockers, with such little money involved, how does the company behave in its real estate transactions?
Avoid it.
