I am very shocked and disappointed at how unsatisfied I was with the product I received from Two Sisters Cakery… I am from Greenfield, therefore we have used this bakery many times for family birthday cakes, holiday cakes, and Valentine’s treats… they have all been wonderful– until now. for my wedding. when I needed them to be the best they have ever been. I decided to order macaroons from Two Sisters for my wedding as my favors for my guests, and the whole process was less than stellar. First off, when I first came in to talk to them about possibly having them make my wedding favors(macaroons) they were very accommodating and nice about us coming in for an appointment on such short notice. That was about the only good part of the whole service. When we came in for our consultation they told us we could try a few flavors, so we chose two. What I thought was odd and unprofessional was that when the lady put the macaroons on a plate and brought them over to the table to talk with us about them she kept picking them up with her bare hands while she was describing them to us. That is unprofessional and gross if you ask me. I thought for sure she was going to just talk about the current ones she had on the table and then go get us fresh ones to try– but nope, that couldn’t be further from the truth. After picking them up multiple times with no gloves on she then pushed the plate toward us when it was time to taste. That was my first red flag. The least you can do is put gloves on before you touch someone’s food that they are about to eat. My next issue that I had is that I knew that one of my wedding colors would possibly be hard to match as my colors were navy blue and coral. When I brought up the idea about asking if we could do a bag with two macaroons in it– one coral, and one navy blue and said, «Oh sure! We can do that!». She acted like it was no problem and it would be super easy to do. So, she sucked us in. she seemed like she had all the confidence in the world, so we trusted her. By the end of the consultation(though a little grossed out that she had expected us to eat what she kept picking up bare handed) we had tasted the macaroons. they tasted good, they looked good, she said the order wouldn’t be a problem, and she quoted us a price. BAM! Wow, that was fairly easy. Then, she said we didn’t necessarily have to order that day since our wedding was still about 4 months away. So, we promised we would be back to order.. . and as we said we would we came back to order. Now when we came back to order they wanted to charge us a higher price than what we were quoted originally. I talked to someone on the phone and they said something about they got new employees in so they would honor whatever we were told originally. I thought that was very sweet of them and I was very appreciative that they did that for me. Here’s my big problem… It’s the day before my wedding and as promised they had all the macaroons ready to be picked up. They were picked up by a family member so I didn’t get to see them until they were already home. I actually had a few family members try to get me not to look at them because I was the bride and they didn’t want me to get upset about them since there was nothing that could be done as my wedding was in 24 hours. I said no, and that I wanted to see them. I looked at them and I was heartbroken. They looked awful and to be honest I’m embarrassed that these were the favors that I had to give my guests. Problem #1: They were not uniform in size at all, nothing like what they looked like in the store when we went. In each little bag there was a navy blue one and a «coral» one. The first few bags I pulled out… the navy blue one was normal size and the coral one was about half that size, which looked ridiculous. Problem #2: The«coral» macaroons were actually like a peachy orange color with pink shimmer brushed on them to try to make them look coral… that was a definite FAIL. At this point I wish they would have just called me to tell me that the coral wasn’t coming out right because I would have just opted out of the coral ones since they looked so bad. Problem #3(which I didn’t know until the day after the wedding) they tasting NOTHING like what they tasted in the store and many guests told me they tasted AWFUL. They said that the blue ones were turning everyone’s mouth blue, so all the guests were telling each other not to eat those. I will take the blame for that one, because anything dyed probably has a chance of making someone’s mouth a different color. But the fact that they tasted bad and guests were going around telling each other not to eat them at all… that is a shame. I’m very disappointed at the quality of them. I wish at this point that I had gone elsewhere for my wedding favors.

The owner was really nice and helpful with my cake decisions. I’ve bought several cakes and cupcakes from Two Sisters cakery and I must say all of them were perfectly moist and flavorful! So sad they moved further from my home!

This place is excellent! I am in love with this place. I have had them make numerous cakes for me and my family. Not only do the cakes look amazing but more importantly they taste fantastic! Our daughter recent 10th birthday we asked to do a tea party theme, and we were blown away. It was beautiful and everyone loved the taste. Not only do they make great cakes, but the cake pops are so good. They melt right in your mouth. And my husband loves the oatmeal butterscotch chip cookies. We are huge fans of Two Sisters. And they are locally owned by a family. Great people who are very nice. I look forward to using them for all of our family celebrations in years to come.
