I am normally a big fan of Target, especially the super centers. Love the clothing, shoes, home décor and grocery options. I do have one complaint, though. I have frequented this particular Target several times as it is fairly close to where I live. Every time I make a purchase I am always asked if I have a target card. This normally does not bother me. As a former retail employee of I understand that companies often encourage/push their employees to up sell their loyalty card programs. I can appreciate that as I know it can be good for business and help retain customers. Each time at checkout I allow the cashier to go through their speech about how good of a deal it is to sign up for the debit card because it is free and helps you save 5% every time. Each time I politely decline. I have nothing against target, I just simply do not want to sign up for the card and that is(or should be) my choice. Most times the cashier will ask me «are you sure?» and reiterate how it is a really good deal because I will save 5% each time to which I will again respond«not today, but thank you.» During a recent visit I checked out and the cashier who was ringing up my items took it one step further and after I said no to signing up for the card twice he asked a third time saying«Aw come on, please?» I feel like this was unprofessional and taking it one step too far. I honestly felt a bit harassed, I don’t feel that I should have to say no 3 times and be made to feel guilty just because I don’t want the card. I am not sure if the cashiers have to meet a certain quota of debit card customers per shift or something. I don’t understand why this particular cashier was pushing so hard for me to sign up. I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. Overall, I still like target for the selection but in the future I may try to avoid this particular location if possible.

Never a bad experience here. I love a few of the cashiers, they are funny and great. The one always makes sure to check expiration dates for me too. They are usually organized and put together.

My main criteria for cat food is that the cat pictured on the bag looks like one of my cats. Is that wrong? This is a good Target, always clean, well stocked, usually I encounter friendly helpful workers and the hours are convenient.

FIRSTSHOPPER All targets are the same but it’s the impression the employees leave on the customers that can cause a negative review like this. Customer perception sets a store apart from another store because all targets carry the same products, so the employees are the ones that can make a difference. This store opens at 8am but if you get here at 7:50am you can watch all the employees lingering by the locked door. Many of them are getting in there last minute smoke before the manager unlocks the door for them at 7:59am. What the manager doesn’t see is the employees throwing there half smoked cigarettes, some still lit on the ground in front of the store. This is just gross and then I have to walk through smoke smell and garbage on the way in at 8am. It’s also called littering. The garbage you throw on the ground including cigarette butts don’t just magically disappear. Have a little pride in where you work and keep it clean. I hate leaving a bad review but this just rubbed me the wrong way. Did I find what I was looking for? Yes But will I ever come back here to shop? Only in an emergency unless they clean up there act. It’s just irresponsible to the environment to have employees littering in front of there own store.

I like the clothes at Target. I like the shopping carts at Target. I like the personal care section at Target. I like the greeting cards at Target. And when there’s a food section, even if it’s not a SuperTarget with all the groceries and meats, I like Target. I find Target to be a better shopping experience and overall, I find that it’s a little bit more expensive than some other big box stores. Clean, polite, organized and really really big. Maybe it’s just my perspective today, but it seems like this is a much larger Target store than usual. Would I shop here again? Hells to the yes.

In this review I will attempt to dissuade all Unilocalers from patronizing that other store that is headquarted in Arkansas and consorts with Satan to form the most putrid corporation on earth. I comparison shopped for milk, eggs, and a few other staples and found Target to be noticeably cheaper overall. This should serve notice on those that purport that the Evil W will allow you to «Save money. Live Better». My ass. At this particular locale, I find the help sort of sparse but overall sufficient for my needs. All in all, in spite of the CEO being the leader of a local family of homophobes, I would choose Target for just about anything I can get there.

Pros: Usually quiet and not insanely busy like other target stores, but this could be because I end up here later in the evening. They have a great grocery and produce section now as well. Cons: Parking is a chore and they never have enough cashiers for checking out. In fact, this review is being written as I sit in line for 20 minutes. They are all polite though.

This is an older form of Target, but it gets the job done. This location is usually very busy with poor parking. They have a great grocery and produce section now.
