One thing I can say for sure, theres no wait anymore! The food has gone down, the taste is not as good, but the PRICE has gone way UP!!! This is my last trip, GOODBYE red lobster!

Not even grading on a curve our experience here was excellent and I believe might have turned my wife into a fan. RL us of course a large well known chain and dining at one can be all over the board but at this location my(our) expectations were way exceeded. The food was very good, arrived hot and of course the selection covers all the bases. The service specifically in the person of our waiter Jake was probably the best we’ve had in many moons and while we were accompanied by a feisty 3yo all the more reason to be appreciative. If you’re in the mood and close do yourself a favor and stop in.

First time going to Red Lobster and it was a typical chain restaurant experience. Nothing stood out as being spectacular and it was a generic dining experience. The clam chowder was probably frozen from a bag, reheated and held in a steam table. It wasn’t fresh or worth the money because you could buy a can of chowder for a buck and it would’ve tasted the same. The Seafood Trio was a good test to see if they cooked the seafood correctly and it was institutional like hospital food. No stand out flavors and all the seafood was cooked just a little more to make sure it was safe to eat. The Seafood Bake was a good idea, but lacked flavor and the linguine was way overcooked. The variety of seafood was good, but the dish just had that chain restaurant quality to it. Overall, I only went because I had received gift cards that sat around for 2 years and happened to be going to Southridge Mall. With Red Lobster being part of a large restaurant chain that includes Olive Garden, I would have had better flavor and two meals at Olive Garden with properly cooked pasta for the price. You can get better seafood at any decent non-chain restaurant.

It is pretty discouraging and sad that we have been waiting to be seated for the last hour. Today is my daughters birthday so we have a large party, according to the staff they only have one place where they can fit our party. With that being said we are currently waiting for people to finish eating to be seated. We tried to call and make reservations this morning but were told that we could not. It’s frustrating to know that in this large restaurant there is only one spot in the restaurant that can seat a large party. On top of sitting here in the waiting area and seeing large parties come in and be seated. Last time I EVER bring my family here. And when we arrived I found out that we can make a reservation 1 week in advance. I would come here with my family occasionally but never after this experience. I will be posting a review on Unilocal as well and will discourage people from coming here.

Red Lobster is what it is. This particular location had a wonderful hostess. Our server, however, was pretty poor. First off, she had two tables in her section and it took the hostess 10 minutes to find her. Second, we told her we were in a bit of a hurry(it was lunchtime) and she delayed bringing our food out while she waited for lobster bisque to be served. We ordered soup and salads and she could have easily brought us our salads. We even told her that. Third, and possibly the most irritating, some friends of hers were seated in our section after us and she proceeded to chat with them at great length. Then she brought us our food and went back to chatting with them, ignoring others in her section. The Caesar salad was really good. Exactly what one would expect. The lobster bisque was disappointing. It tasted super fishy and not like lobster at all. But then again, it’s Red Lobster. I wasn’t expecting Michelin star quality food.

I was very unimpressed with the service we received tonight. She took 10 min to greet us once seated at the table. The whole service was slow. She never asked us for refills on drinks. Rarely checked in on our table. She seemed completely annoyed the whole time. Food was ok nothing impressed with. Went here on a Monday night because a family member picked the restaurant for their birthday. Would never choose to eat here. You would think by the lack of service that they were busy, but it was just the opposite.

An absolutely awful experience. My sister and I ordered to go tonight. Should have taken it as an omen when we waited forever to place the order over the phone, about 8 minutes on hold before we placed the order. They said it would take 45 minutes, which I expected for a Friday night. My sister ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes when she went to pick up the food. The bartender apologized that it was taking so much longer but really, double the time and nothing was comped?! We ordered the sampler appetizer and the wood grilled combo. No complaints on the wood grilled combo. But my salad that came with meal tasted like it had been sitting out for awhile. It was warmer than it should have been considering we live like 5 minutes away. We didn’t get any cocktail sauce for the shrimp in the sampler app platter. The cheddar biscuits were cold. Overall a disappointing experience. Had they told us over phone it would be an hour and a half, that’s fine. But saying it’s 45 over the phone only to wait an additional 45 is ridiculous. I actually called my sister because I was worried something happened to her.

I wouldn’t usually rate a mainstream restaurant 4 stars but after dinning at this red lobster a few times I have to say it is pretty consistent with above amazing service!

I had dinner with my friend. I ordered the new crab legs for the addl price of $ 2.99 and my friend had the grilled salmon, lobster and shrimp. The new crab were tasty but not worth the addl price. We had a new waiter. Blessings to him as he was a bit overwhelmed with other tables other waitstaff informed us. This was my early Birthday dinner from my dear friend.(8 – 5 actual date) This is still my go to restaurant for crab fest! However, in the near future I will have have the regular snow crab legs which are just as tasty. Thank you, Deanna PS do you actually serve REAL butter w your food???

Since I used to work for Olive Garden, and Red Lobster used to be under the same parent company of Darden Inc., I used to frequent Red Lobster more because of my employee discount. Last summer, however, Darden sold Red Lobster away, and away went my amazing discount. Discount or not, I still love eating at Red Lobster. Their promotions always get me in the door! My favorites are the Endless Shrimp, Crabfest, and Lobsterfest! I think the new company that is in control of Red Lobster is taking it in the right direction. Such a simple thing as keeping more seafood on the menu and adding more LOBSTER to the menu are great by me!

Went there because my wife likes their coconut shrimp(mostly the dipping sauce). I am more than aware that red lobster is not the place to go for quality seafood. Normally I also know not to get their alfredo dishes because it is usually in a pool of butter. However, I am a sucker for seafood pasta dishes and I thought just maybe if I ordered the crab alfredo rather than the shrimp, it might be different. It was. I have never had a dish with so much salt. So, on top of the butter lake, I also was hit with a bucket of salt. To put it in perspective, the cheddar biscuits were significantly less salty. I think my tongue had a chemical burn afterwards.

Visiting this location was a great experience. The host was pleasant. Our server Sandy was very attentive to our needs. Very pleasant she had an fun aura about her. The food was amazing! Lunch specials were great! So much food and that cheddar bay biscuits they’re known for, AMAZING! Highly recommend visiting this location!

Service was poor in the bar and the restaurant. Food quality was mediocre. I was not impressed at all. It wasn’t just me. The gentleman at a table near me had an issue with his lobster. He tried to get his waiter to come back with no luck.

Yes, this is one of those chain restaurants. However, the service is always good, the food is good, and I love, love, love their cheese bread! Dinners at Red Lobster are always a treat.

Nice scenery and nice bartender, probably can’t say the same for the food unless you order the mussels, it’s delicious! Shrimp tastes horrible like as if it has been frozen… Probably twice! Mussels are awesome, though. The drink selection is very limited too unless you enjoy frozen drinks, they got plenty of those.

Visited here early on a Monday for dinner(4pm) when you might expect the kitchen to be a little slow. No so! Our server, Deb, was delightful! Our first course came very quickly. The rest was delivered in perfect succession. We came for the clam strips, which my wife truly enjoys. I had some wonderful cole slaw. The cheddar biscuits were excellent, of course. The rest of the meal was quite good! No complaints. I give the 5 stars, not because RL is a 5 star restaurant, but because our meal and service were very good and at a reasonable price. We’ll visit again and ask for Deb.

It’s Red Lobster. What’s not to like? A little salty, but overall the food was tasty. My wife and I stopped for lunch on a Friday. Polite attentive service with a smile. We’ll come back again, at some point.

I really should know better than to expect anything better than just ok from a place like Red Lobster. You just look at their menu photos and prices and somehow convince yourself that it is going to be good. I doubt I would ever go here by choice, but this is where the party was, so to Red Lobster I went. We were a pretty big party, 14 I believe. For some reason they are not willing to take reservations, even for parties of this size. We ended up waiting an hour and a half for a table on a Sunday night, and we wouldn’t have even been seated then if it weren’t for us asking them to push a few tables together for us. The best part of any meal at the RL is the cheddar biscuits. We got the coconut shrimp appetizer, which was actually pretty decent as well, just a bit skimpy. I shared a platter that was pictured on their specials menu as a huge delicious feast of lobster, scallops and shrimp. Thankfully I had eaten way too many biscuits, because there is no way that would have ever filled us up. The service was adequate at best. We asked the server to separate the bill, to which she agreed, but when it came time to pay they were all lumped together. When they finally did split it off for us, there was an extra drink charged on our bill. They took it off, but only after at least a half hour of back and forth and a managers assistance. Throughout the majority of the meal our server was nowhere to be found. At one point someone came around to fill up waters, but missed our half of the table and then disappeared for another stretch. No thank you, I will take my business elsewhere.

Chain chain chaaaaaaain(it’s a song). Not to be a snob, but I don’t love chain restaurants! There are SO many better places to go. I sound like a snob. I’m not — I promise! So we go here about once a year with a giftcard And it’s ok. I remember coming here often as a kid and it being much better though. Last time, it was Lobster Fest(it’s always some sort of «fest» here), so we ordered: The lobster bake: shrimp, scallops, mussels, lobster, fettuccine(good, but the mussels were not — fishy!), not very hot The lobster feast: 2 kinds of lobster, shrimp pasta, fries(also good, but not hot) You could tell that our waiter forgot to get our food from the kitchen and was slammed, so someone else brought it out. READ: it was sitting under the heat lamps just waiting and cooling off. Moderately warm fries are OK, but moderately warm seafood… meh, not so much.
