I had a very disappointing experience here. I came to print 30 digital images as photos for my mom as a Christmas present. The staff were very friendly and helped me email them my photos to print, since my USB drive wasn’t working. They noticed that my photos were the wrong size for the 4×6 album I planned to put them in and said they would need to be resized before printing. They quoted me a reasonable price and told me it would be at least 30 minutes before they were ready. I took a walk around downtown and returned 40 minutes later to find that my photos hadn’t been printed yet. The staff told me the photos were all different sizes and had to be manually resized and cropped in Photoshop, so in addition to the price I was quoted, I would need to pay $ 25 for the«computer work». I was fairly frustrated that I hadn’t been told this up front, and ended up paying for just the«computer time» at a discounted $ 15 and taking my photos to Staples to print. It took me 25 minutes to go home, automatically resize the photos to somewhere between 4×6 and 3×5 at 300 dpi in Photoshop(yes, this is a capability Photoshop has. Why the CopyCat staff member wasn’t aware of this, I do not know) and have them printed at Staples. I appreciate Greenfield’s downtown and make a point of supporting local businesses, but the frankly predatory practices of this business have certainly driven me away. I’ll make the drive to Amherst or Northampton to use Collective Copies from now on.

After talking to my partner about wedding invitations we decided to stop in at CopyCat to look at what options they had available. When I walked into the store I asked one of the employees for what items they had and he seemed a bit confused. His co-worker pointed me towards the books they have for invitation templates and I spend some time looking through the items. While looking at what they had for invitations I quickly realized that the prices were high and that I could probably get better options online for cheaper. Since that was the case I ask the employee if I could bring in my own stock and have them printed on it. This was an option and he politely gave me the business card to call about further questions. In the end I didn’t print anything but was able to ask them a few different questions. The staff seems nice enough but it would have been more pleasant if I had received a little bit more support around questions. Even though that was the case, I know that what I was asking of them probably isn’t typical day-to-day questions so I appreciate the time they took to support me.

Went here to get something printed and scanned. Literally took 10 minutes to print 15 pages. It took 5 minutes to figure out how to use the scanner. Then they had to scan then 1-by-1. Absolutely the slowest service I’ve ever received. The staff couldn’t seem to care less. I was charged $ 7 to print 15 black and white 1 sided pages. Seriously? I could probably buy a printer for that much.

Very helpful and friendly customer service and reasonable rates make Copycat Printing a great place to go for faxing or copying. They also offered quarters for us when we didn’t have the correct change for the meter. They’re awesome.
