This was a really good restaurant. The waiters were extremely nice and the food was pleasing. I would really recommend this restaurant. Don’t let the look of the town fool you because this is a very good place to settle and eat.

I had the French onion soup to start, it was pretty good, only compliant is that it could’ve had some more cheese. I got the lobster topped bacon wrapped sirloin for my main course. It was great for me. But my girlfriends was tough with a lot of fat. Service was good. Usual chain restaurant visit.

I try to frequent 99 on Fridays when they have prime rib which is always very good. No matter when we go everything is well prepared and we never have a bad meal.

After a really long morning on the road from Maine, we pulled in here at 3:00PM — starving. Found really friendly people and a great menu with lots of selections. Their special today is ‘prime rib sandwiches’ in four different varieties. I ordered the Philly Rib Melt. Really tasty. Would come again if we’re ever in the area.

Our visit started off OK, but improved once we were seated. We rolled in around 9 or 9:30 on a Thursday night and it was fairly quiet. So we were a bit surprised when we had a 10 or so minute wait. I believe it was the manager who saw us standing around and then brought us to a table. Our server made the experience. Melissa was friendly, upbeat, great with suggestions and attentive. We were surprised to hear that she was new to the restaurant… the way she carried herself made it seem like she had been there for some time. I went with a turkey wrap which was really good. My wife had a salad; it was massive. Service was excellent; can’t say enough about that aspect.

Stopped here after a long day of travel. I would compare this to the likes of Chili’s or Applebee’s. They have variety of dishes from fish and chips to steaks and I think ribs. I ordered fish tacos and while not authenticate, they were tasty. I thought it was odd that they served a steamed rice. Bathrooms were passable. They didn’t look run down and for the most part were clean. Would repeat if traveling with or meeting family.

I loved it! We were looking for a quick place for dinner because friendlys was closed. We were driving to Vt. I loved the seafood chowder and onion on top of the chopped steak. Hubby liked it a lot! The mushrooms were very good. I would have preferred the chicken pot or the lobster roll. Peanut butter brownie was very good! Glad fellow customer at friendlys told us about this place. If I lived here I would come here all the time!

We came in after a zip line tour and got here at about 3:00 and were starved. Drinks came quickly and the little bowels of popcorn that were brought out with them disappeared in no time. The AC was set kind of high but we had sweatshirts with us.(Just FYI). Entrees were delicious and our order was correct(to address prior complaints). Overall we were quite happy with everything. (People at the next table were upset/surprised that there was no wi fi available which was not an issue for us but keep in mind if you are bringing an iPad to keep the kids occupied).

If you are traveling along Interstate 91 and it’s time for a break, this restaurant is an excellent choice. Quality is here at reasonable pricing. I had the Rustic Chicken Sandwich($ 9.79) and it was dynamite. One of my companions had the Philly Prime Rib Melt and raved about it. Nice place. Nice environment. Clean restrooms. It was a great place for a quick stop.

They work hard to serve food at a high level. They have good beer and drinks. When you are not sure where to go this is the place. The bar is great.

Convenient location at the turnabout on Route 2, good menu selections at fair prices, pleasant servers, and decent, consistent quality food qualify this chain restaurant for 4 stars. I ordered the Macadamia Crusted Chicken which comes with rice and asparagus with a mango sauce on the side. It was very tasty and I was pleased. The price was 9.99 which was definitely a fair price. My date ordered a burger and fries and was satisfied, as well, and I can testify that those fries I stole from his plate were quite good.

They have a good menu. I feel it is a notch above Applebee’s. There food seams more fleshly prepared. They have a good kids menu if you have children. They know how little ones can be and get there order in right away. I think there burgers are great. If you want a good burger it is wort the wait over fast food.

Typical of what you’ll find any 99 Restaurant. They have a couple really good waitress(Luella) there and then they have some that are just there. Food is average, you get what you pay for. extremely misleading is there soup section. they advertise a crock of French onion soup, that wants delivered to your table comes in an oversize Superbowl that has not been put in the oven that has a slice of plastic wrapped cheese draped across the slice of bread. extremely disappointing and definitely mark against them false advertising an expensive at 5 dollars for an bowl of canned French onion soup. there was no way that my onions for caramelized properly. as an undercover food critic I make sure I pay attention to dishes that I order frequently at different establishments. doing so well as me to be very critical of 1 place to another. They might consider taking that item of the menu if they cannot cook it properly and still feel comfortable charging their customers, as it was surely be a strike against them in our community. living here in Greenfield it’s very hard to actually come across a very good, consistent, and well rounded restaurant. Another issue found with their soup section of their offerings is that they’re clam chowder really was not fresh nor in anyway was actually filling the bowl it was a half full when delivered to our table. on trivia night you want to definitely be cautious as to where use it as it can be extremely loud and rowdy and patrons at the bar as well as the bar staff have no regards for the waitresses in waiters, tending to the dining area. Thursday, I witnessed to separate waitresses nearly drop bear trace do to patrons backing into them… ask to be very frustrating for the waitresses who are there busting their ass is like Luella.

I have been there multiple times and always get the worst service, meaning they always mess up orders and or the food portions are way small. I have been to MANY99 restaurants and this one is by far the worst one.
