We had five paintings framed at top price and although they came out looking nice the owner Christa did not want to follow thru to the end as originally agreed and individually wrap the items in plastic. Instead she talked about how over worked she is and she would show me how to wrap them instead. She was hostile and rude which surprised me since it took her 2 minutes to finish the job.
I recommend you only pay ½ up front and the rest when the job is completed per agreement.

I went to this store today for a simple hanger for a picture from pottery barn. Phoned first.
The lady took my picture, opened it, cleaned it, and put a sturdy wire on the back.
WOW! No charge.
Not expecting this. Wonderful customer service.
Possibly they charge a little more? When you look at their customer service and an
eye for detail, it is worth it!
I will be back!!!

I love this place and they do an amazing job! I moved to the southbay after living 8+ years in Larkspur and I still drive all the way to get my framing done by Frame Crafters. Krista is amazing and always so pleasant. This place is the best!

I was pleased with the job that Krista did on our artwork. I came in based on a referral from a friend, and I found the Unilocal!deal online. Although the piece took longer than initially quoted, the wait was worth it.
I also appreciate the follow-​up thank you card. Details like this make a difference in our retail experiences. Thanks for that nicety!

Krista and Kathy could have not have been more helpful or dead on with their suggestions for some children’s art work that needed framing for a school auction. I am color challenged, so Krista made all the suggestions for a lovely and economical outcome. Everyone who saw the artwork commented on the great framing. I also saw both ladies interact with many customers while I was in and out, and they have fabulous customer service, too!

The owner just sent me a message stating that she was told that I was asking for an additional discount on top of the voucher I had which is completely NOT true!!! I did not mention that at all. I was so shocked at the grand total that I simply asked whether they applied the discount (I thought maybe the price they stated was before the discount was applied). They proceeded to tell me that the discount was already taken which was why I was so shocked! Were they raising their prices to the coupon voucher holders? I simply then asked why they charged so much, which I felt was a very appropriate question. Maybe they went out and chopped down the tree themselves that the frame was made out of, or laser cut the small piece of glass from a giant piece of glass imported from Europe! If that was the case then I would understand their ridiculous prices. The owner also states that their prices are «comparable to other framers in their area and in the same calibre». Well this explains it then: they cater to Ross/​Greenbrae residents (like I said in my previous review). I was getting quotes from other middle class neighborhoods and not the 1%! Like I said, if you have money to throw around and price is not an issue, then by all means go right ahead.

Over the past 6 months, I’ve had 3 pieces of art framed here. I have been very happy with the work done, and I am and will continue to be a repeat customer. Employees are very helpful and patient. The store itself is pleasant and has great photography on the walls.

My secret name for the manager here is «the Master Framer», as I have never been disappointed in a piece. I usually walk in with my artwork having no idea what to do and they always give me an array of choices that make my artwork look more awesome than it really is. If i had an unlimited budget i would always always choose the museum glass — I am totally intrigued by it (it has no glare, it doesn’t even look like there is glass there). I have had about 4 pieces done in the last 3 years and am happy with all of them!
