Coffee Roo

Great place for a delicious kale smoothie or chicken/​artichoke heart/​provolone panini. The food and drink are very fresh and tasty. The coffee and tea drinks look so good, as does the date smoothie. Need to stop by more often to try all the delectable treats!

Best panini Ive had in awhile. The chicken panini with artichoke is my favorite. I’ve tried both drinks and between Kale and date smoothie, my favorite is the kale smoothie. The service is always greeted with a smile too

Fantastic pulled pork panini. Crispy on the outside, hot all the way through, not too thick, succulent tender pork… Perfect for lunch, and under seven bucks.

I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. Everything I’ve had here has been very tasty. So far I haven’t sampled any food but the coffee drinks and the banana date smoothies are fantastic.
Daniel is a genuinely nice guy and really has a true feeling for customer service. Even when I’ve had to wait in line I don’t mind because it’s obvious that he has everything under control.
I hope the ‘Roo stays around for a good long time!

This little truck shop has been part of my occasional lunchtime running path, and so while I noticed it, I never had the chance to stop. By the time my run was over, so was my memory of Coffee Roo. So I must say: thank you Good People of Unilocal for finally leading me to Coffee Roo!
Daniel is a guy who is up with the times. You can text him in advance and he’ll start getting your order ready. Not only that, but he’ll remember your name to boot. He’s the type of guy who is genuinely kind and friendly, interested in having conversations and that’s what makes Coffee Roo.
Well…and that the tiny menu is amazingballs. First time I walked up I was eyeing the place a little suspiciously. Not that there is anything sinister about the little truck, I was just wondering how it could possibly attract so much praise from the other reviewers. I asked someone standing by what they were thinking of ordering and they recommended the chicken panini (with artichokes and bacon). Someone else approached, saying «oh, are you guys talking about the chicken panini? It’s great, right??» Cue several more bystanders chiming in on their favorite panini, juice or the great local coffee that Daniel carries.
The prices are reasonable as well. A panini and a juice (by now I have tried most of them, and keep on going back to the watermelon refresher) comes out to about $ 10. I recommend stopping by and chatting with Daniel and grabbing a good bite to eat. I doubt you’ll regret it.

Coffee Roo is conveniently located across my workplace, but since I’m not a regular coffee drinker and I always bring a packed lunch, I never had the need to stop by Coffee Roo. Yesterday, I finally had the excuse to go. My husband and I were going househunting after work so I decided to buy a snack from Coffee Roo to tide us over till dinner. I ordered chicken panini, turkey panini, and strawberry/​banana/​pineapple smoothie… all for under $ 17. While waiting for my order, I was given a sample of the kale smoothie. I don’t like kale but the drink turned out to be pretty good… If my memory serves me right, I think the owner said he added pineapple and almond milk to it. My husband and I enjoyed our panini. He preferred the turkey while I preferred the chicken. I plan on going back to try the iced coffee, quiche, and ham and cheese croissant.

I’ve been meaning to stop by & start my morning here since we live in the area.
Finally got my chance a few days ago, after visiting a friend at the Marin General Hospital. I needed my caffeine fix & although Peet’s was convenient at the hospital, I pretty much had my mind set on Coffee Roo (the reviews sounded remarkably promising!)
Seriously! I can’t believe I’ve waited so long!!! This little coffee cart (located in a parking lot — you can’t miss its mustard/​orange color vibrancy) is absolutely amazing! One sip of my latte & I wished I’d gotten the largest size. The white mocha was also divine! They also serve food (pastries, quiches, paninis, energy bars, etc) & have really cute umbrella seating right in front.
As mentioned by other Unilocalers the customer service is awesome. Super friendly guy who enjoys what he does & is definitely good at it!

Love the coffee and the service! I usually come here for a latte and a croissant with ham and cheese, sometimes for a smoothie. The owner is extremely friendly and he makes an effort to remember your name and specific order. When in a hurry, I send him a text message with my order. Never a problem. Otherwise, I enjoy my time at one of the tables outside. Highly recommend!

Really cool place. I had an ice coffee and a ham and cheese croissant, both were very good. The owner/​barista was extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quick cup of coffee and or a tasty snack.

I work in the city and stopped in the area for a meeting. I was in desperate need of coffee and food. I was surprised to find this great little café (thanks to Unilocal). The owner (Daniel) just opened this place up and he’s doing a great job (amazing customer service) which is why I’m posting. I ordered a Coffee Roo (espresso with caramel and white chocolate) and a turkey Panini. Both were pretty tasty. YUM! I also tasted the Monkey Roo (espresso chocolate and banana) which was tasty too. I definitely recommend getting any «Roo» type coffee and a Panini for lunch. This was just the right amount of food for a great price. I am planning to stop here every time for lunch when I come in from the city.
