I live in the Hecht Warehouse managed by Bozzuto. They have been very responsive and helpful after a crack in our window caulking caused water to leak into our apartment. I did have an issue with them losing my deposit check but it turns it out was never really lost but just a miscommunication about where it was. Regardless they reimbursed me for the cancelled check fee. I think that perhaps in trying to reassure me about the check they came off as a bit minimizing. Regardless I have been more than satisfied with their customer service since then and they have gone above and beyond expectations in several areas. I also really love my apartment and I love how responsive they have been to any issues. I recommend this company.

Hi Bozzuto Manager, Thank you for your delayed generic response to my first review of Bozzuto. It has reminded me that I should update my review. I have lived in a Bozzuto fiasco for six months now. I and others have attempted to work out issues with Bozzuto. The number one response we get back is that they are out of the office and not checking e-mail. The second most frequently received response is that they don’t know. E.g. they don’t know who built the kitchen cabinets, they don’t know who put in the windows, they don’t know when corrective repairs will be finished, etc. The third most frequently received response is that they will get back to us. The fourth most frequently received response is silence, the never get back to us. The pre-Christmas rainstorms of 2015 exposed a leak in the building’s roof. This was in the same area where work earlier this year was done to repair a «previous» leak. Everyone with Bozzuto, who claims to offer a warranty on the building, were away and no one was returning calls. Meanwhile water was steadily dripping. Thankfully someone had a copy of all the subcontractors that worked on the building. Why Bozzuto doesn’t have a copy of this list is anyone’s guess, and it is interesting that every single task was subcontracted. Bozzuto did not put a hammer to a single nail. Anyway, the roofer was contacted and sent someone out. The problem turned out to be that the roof was not completed– a major component was left off. This is a reoccurring theme, the subcontractor’s employees/subcontractors did a horrible job. Thankfully the person who was out was qualified and honest. I have no idea who«fixed» the previous leak. Still no response from Bozzuto on the leak, why there is no sound privacy within the building, why street noise is so loud, why the flooring in units is warping, etc. All dealing with a building completed in 2015. So much for advancements in technology, practices, and knowledge.

This is my first experience with Bozzuto and would agree with D.G.‘s assessment as I no doubt live in the same building he does. I would add the lack of any ceiling lights(except for kitchen area) is a major issue. I understand not adding the feature by default, however, the option should exist during the ordering process. Many homeowners have been forced to add lighting as a patchwork effort. The garage door is noisy and will no doubt required replacement within a year. Adding insult to injury, the homeowners association(which is run solely by Bozzuto) charges residents $ 250 fee to use common area on the roof. This is absurd and reflects their lack of contributing adequate seed money in the common fund. Never again. Caveat emptor.
