The Safeway there didn’t have a microwave not only that the sandwich shop was nasty. At least 70 ingredients for my chicken bacon and avocado. The bacon was cold and it tasted fake

This Safeway is great, the cashiers and lanes are usually long and lacking service though. The wing bar is a bonus… When it is fresh and being well kept.
Pharmacy is amazing, fast, and professional… I’d hate to say it though because I don’t want so many people flocking here and ruining it!

Parking. Not good. That isn’t a reflection on the store because it’s part of a series of other shops. But, wow, the parking is nasty. Getting in and out is a danger zone. You need to drive like James Bond and hold your breath hoping you don’t cream or get creamed by someone. Anyway, otherwise, it’s an average Safeway. Not impressive. I like the Duval Mine Road location in terms of being more accessible and having ways in and out of the area that aren’t congested).

This is a small Safeway store with limited. Parking is very limited especially during snowbird season where finding a space is next to impossible. The deli is small but sufficient. There are no complaints about any of the employees as they are extremely nice. Produce is good and fresh. They have free Internet while in the store, which may be the reason for all the parking places being packed during snowbird season.

As mentioned before, the parking lot is terrible. The store smells like rotten food or old cheese! The whole thing reminds me of old, old, old. The store on Duval Mine Road is 100% better and carries a bigger variety of items.

I would probably say this is your typical Safeway except for a few things:
* the parking lot is a bit crazy (I would say do-over on the traffic flow)
* unisex bathroom is in the front of the store
* they have organic bananas (many don’t)
* spend enough and you get a discount on gas at the Safeway gas station down the road
I was surprised to see that Safeway sells gasoline in AZ — we don’t have that where I live in CA.
Like most Safeways, the staff is friendly and helpful. I shopped here on Christmas Eve and other days, and got all the help I needed.
I tried the Safeway brand frozen 5 cheese ravioli with Rao’s marinara sauce and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was (not by Rao’s, but the pasta).
