I walked into the Ace Hardware Store on 115 Esperanza Blvd, Green Valley, I was looking at bolts and went over to pick up a key that they made for me, I was waiting in line to pay and drop a $ 20 bill, I looked all around and told the casher, she told me they would look at the tape of me dropping it and give it back to me if they have it, well they did and being retired we need to save as much as we can, my thank you to the staff and to the store, I tried to give money to the employee who turned it in but they said“no” again my thank you, I will make this my store

Very helpful staff, but when I tried to checkout, the cashier was very angry. She was angry with the staff because they were not getting a price check fast enough. Then she was angry with me because I tried to return an item that I purchased at another Ace hardware store. I will not shop at this store, but will shop at the other Ace in town.

Very helpful staff there. We can find most hardware, plumbing and cleaning material that we need. They are open every day and the service is excellent.

Disappointed & a bit bewildered. Attempted twice to return $ 60+ worth of unused Jack Stands in original boxes for my in-laws who are now out of town. Manager said store policy prohibits return on «tools» & told me that Jack Stands were not returnable because they were considered«tools.» I asked if we could at least return them for a store credit; was given same explanation & would not budge. Manager did not even ask to inspect products so as to determine that Jack Stands indeed had not been used & thus make an exception to the policy, saving a customer(s). Sometimes policy exceptions can be the best choice. 5 stars for sticking to store policy, zero stars for working with a customer, an owner/manager of multiple properties in this community alone & former business owner. We always strive to support local businesses but, sorry, this is not the way to do business. Our decision: we have choices & are severing all ties with Ace Hardware, this store & elsewhere.
