Ink Spot West

I drove 30 minutes to this shop because I liked their work that I saw on their sites. I get there and they tell me they don’t do finger tattoos. It does not state on their website or any social media that they dont do them. I get that you want your work to stay without minimal fade but I came to you for your services. I guess I’m taking my business elsewhere.

I just got a tattoo at Ink Spot West and my experience was amazing! Mike O was my artist and he was great! Thanks Steve, I love your shop!!!

Ink spot west has great artists and Steve is a great guy. Just not the best at remembering his appointments.

I got two, one is ok, the other has really thick blurry lines. The woman did not have a light touch. It made me sick when I really looked at it the next day. I am thinking of either removal or cover-​up.

Got my tattoo done today, and I love it thanks to Mike he’s a great artist. Very nice environment people are very friendly and welcoming. I was helped immediately at the door.

These guys are the best. Steve is well know in the field and all his people were trained by him. The original artwork is amazing, his attention to detail and «eye» is phenomenal. He has done three custom pieces for me and everyone who’s seen them and knows anything about tattoos is floored by the fine detail work.
They are professional, use excellent technical sterile procedures (I’ve worked in enough labs to know it when I see it), and they are all fine artists.
Oh, and they are all really nice people, who make everyone welcome and comfortble.

As other reviewers have written, it’s a tiny little-​blink an you’ll miss it place. It’s set back off the highway (Rt. 22). It’s clean, and nicer than you would expect. The staff seem nice. I’ve gotten 5 tatts there so far. The 1^st by a girl who’s no longer employed there, but who did a nice job.
After that I was recommended to Nikki, who’s done 4 including my most recent. I can’t say enough about Nikki. She’s not only an amazing artist, but she’s very sweet and professional as well. She’s GREAT to talk to, and before I knew it the work was done. She’ll work w/​you until you’re perfectly satisfied w/​the design. I hope she sticks around as I’d have to follow her (not in a stalkerish way) because I trust her completely. I’ve referred several people to her as well.
It’s worth going a bit out of your way as the prices seem reasonable, and the work outstanding!

great place… don’t let the outside fool you. it looks a little run down and dirty from the outside (and it’s on rt. 22) but once inside, it’s clean and the people are friendly and helpful. my fiancé had been here way before he even knew me and he brought me here when i wanted to get my first tattoo re-​colored and a second new tattoo. at first i was nervous by judging from the outside but once inside it’s a whole other world.
they do GREAT work. we’ve been to nikki twice now for 2 different tattoos. she does a great job and makes you feel at ease and confident about the design. this would be a great place for a newbie to get their first tattoo bc it’s such a positive experience. nikki cleaned up two of my sketches for my tats and drew one from scratch for my fiancé and they were all perfect. she «gets» what you want, even if you bring her 3 sketches of your own, 3 others pictures and verbally explain what you want from each… she’ll figure it out :)
this place is THE place to go for ink!

Absolutely the best. I started my ink here when I still lived in NJ. I now live in PA and make the 2 hour trip back for more ink, because I don’t trust anyone else. Very professional.

great place, although you may miss it if you blink while driving on route 22.
have some ink by dennis and one by nikki (although that took place at the Philly Tattoo Convention, 2007). i highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to get a tattoo. i suggest you set up an appointment after you go in to show the artists what you have in mind, because that will help you manage your expectations (price, sizing, placement, etc).
they take credit cards but remember it is a service so tipping in cash is generally appreciated.
