Arthur Murray Dance Studio

My husband and I signed up for Arthur Murray for our wedding. They gave us the «wedding package» which had 12 private 40 minute sessions at a slightly discounted rate.
Our first lesson was complimentary. We initially told our instructor that we did not want a choreographed dance, however; we ended getting one anyway. Not because we asked for one because we were taught one and by the time we realized what happened, we just went with it.
We did 2 lessons back to back because 40 minutes feels like nothing once you get yourself going. They always start 5 minutes late. Our instructor told us why, but I don’t remember.
Thankfully, the day of our wedding we were able to perform the dance pretty well for having only 12 lessons. I personally did not LOVE the dance, and I felt like I have seen it on YouTube before, but my husband was getting into it so I kept my mouth shut after telling our instructor I wanted to change some things.
It was a nice experience and recommend taking lessons if you’re getting married because for nothing else, you spend some real one-​on-​one time together.
I am happy we took dance lessons for our first dance as a married couple.
