My favorite«cheap eats» in Green Bay. This is authentic Mexican fare that is very reasonably priced. The salsa is great, and I love the combination dinner options. Food is made with fresh ingredients, and the whole family can eat for 25 – 30 dollars. We usually eat at the east side location. I have eaten at both, but prefer the east side.

Top Notch Taqueria, where you should not be afraid to explore the menu and try things like Birra, Posole and Menudo. TBM has many strengths– creamy guac and solid salsa among them– including that their chicken is tender and tastes like actual meat. How many taco places have you been to when the chicken tastes boiled and stringy? The Al Pastor is solid and the Lengua(tongue) is crispy on the outside and tender through and through. Be sure to order your tacos«mexican style» if you want cilantro and onion on corn tortillas.(or not, if you prefer Lettuce, Tomato and Cheese). They also serve a dependable Chilaquiles, which is a sort of breakfast nacho similar to Migas and should be part of your life. The posole is spicy with a nice mix of stewed pork, hominy and toppings to make it fun. They also play basically any soccer game the TV picks up, so it’s a great place to watch when every bar in Green Bay is playing other sports. Another review mentioned«thugs.» I can only imagine they mean«brown people.»(I’ve been there all times of the day, from open to close, and seen mainly families).

We’ve been searching for a good Mexican restaurant in Green Bay. This was by far the worst we’ve been to. The food was terrible. There was foreign matter in our chips(burnt corn?). The rice was bland. The beans were sour. The chicken was dry and the cheese was congealed when it got to the table. There are no free refills on soda. But maybe the worst thing was that it was filled almost exclusively with thugs and didn’t feel safe(and this was on a Monday night when it should be quiet). The only positives were that the building was clean and our server was friendly. Not going back.

Pretty average Mexican restaurant — all your faves at decent prices. I wasn’t overly impressed but I wasn’t disappointed either.

Food is delicious! I always get the chimichanga and love it. The place is a bit old but the food makes up.

This place reminds me of the Taco shops back in Phoenix. The steak Tacos and Burritos are excellent! Outstanding flavor, served quickly and very reasonable. Dollar for dollar, the best Mexican food in town!

I finally have my Mexican restaurant in Green Bay. This place was the hole-in-the-wall I have been looking for. I ordered a taco, tostada, and chimichanga all with steak. The taco came nice and hot, loaded with toppings and two tortillas. The tostada was crispy and flavorful with fresh vegetables on top. The chimichanga was a pillow of flavor with just the right amount of cheese inside. The order came with guacamole and actual hot sauce for like $ 7. And I mean real hot sauce, not like some over the counter salsa. I will most definitely be back. In fact, it is going to be hard not to stop on my way home from work every night. Seriously. I may be 300lbs by July. I won’t even be mad. I wonder how long it’ll take me to try the entire menu… See you soon, TBM.

Let me first say that I am a Mexican Food Snob. For Green Bay, this is damn good Mexican. Better than El Sarape, Margarita’s or anything other joint around GB. Had their steak tacos, Pastor Tacos with rice and beans. AMAZING! The el pastor was by far the best I have had in the area. The Guac is to die for and their«hot» salsa is really hot. YUM! Order at the window and have a seat. Try a bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola. So good!

Great place to go for authentic Mexican food. They are very friendly and the service is quick. I also appreciate that they offer options for my vegetarian and vegan needs. Also very affordable. We often call in our order and then stop by to pick it up, but the dining area is often well-kept when we eat there too.

Tried the cerviche and the menudo today. I’d never tried cow’s stomach before but I was inspired by Andrew Zimmern so I gave it a try. Not bad actually. The dish comes with tortillas, raw onion and lime. Worth ordering it if for nothing more than to say you’ve tried it.

Terrific Mexican food, we have been eating at Taco Burrito since it opened and have never been disappointed. They make an awesome guacamole and the steak burritos are massive and wonderful.

Sweet, first to review this awesome Mexican restaurant! Close to work downtown, just over the bridge from East side, it is the old Storheims building. Having traveled to Mexico over the past 3 years for business, I have craved the flavors of that country every time I come back to Green Bay. This place has a great menu that boasts more than the average TEX-MEX that one would assume… I recommend the tacos with the el pastor pork, which is pretty darn close to the flavors I tasted in Mexico. They also have Menudo… amazing, if that is your thing… You can also get Mexican colas there, that beat the heck out of our US versions… both Coke and Pepsi… also, great bottled beers. You will not be disappointed!
