Other than the flies in the restaurant, the food is pretty good. Been here quite a few times and never leave hungry. The cod on Friday night was delicious!

People who work here are super nice. Overall, it’s very clean. The food was just okay. I got a cheeseburger and it was tiny and shriveled… and believe me, I know tiny and shriveled. My friend had a club sandwich which looked a little better. For me, this was like going to a Denny’s or something.

I can’t say it’s my favorite breakfast spot in the Green Bay area, but it is definitely an olé’ reliable. Friends and I popped in for a quick bite, which was good. Service is quick and friendly.

Wow so I sat at a table here for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come to my table and wait on me. Nothing. I got up and walked out, so I can’t review the food. DONTCOMEHEREIFYOUWANTFASTSERVICE.

Went in on a Saturday at 2pm, and the service was incredibly slow. I ordered their chicken and ribs special, and I didn’t expect much — and I was still disappointed. The fried chicken was not hot, and you could tell it was made earlier in the day. While the flavor was good, it was way too greasy. The ribs were a disaster. I didn’t go into the restaurant expecting a lot, and yet I was still a little thrown back at how bad they were. They did fall off the bone, but that’s more a product of sitting in a warmer for hours as opposed to being cooked right. There was no flavor, and they covered them in a ketchup sauce. As we went to pay, the teenager with a bad attitude didn’t say anything to us and wouldn’t look us in the eye. He handed me the receipt in a rude way — shoving it in my hand — and I said«thanks». His reply? «Whatever…». The waitress was nice and overworked, the service was slow, and we never ended up getting our dessert. I will not go back.

I am usually not one to complain about quick service but to get ribs and fried chicken 5 minutes after ordering I know it wasn’t «fresh» when the skin on your fried chicken is soggy something is not right. I also needed a refill and the waitress never brought me a drink she took my glass and never came back. Would I recommend this place no will I be back … NO!

The typical American dinner. Average food and service. Nothing extraordinary, but no complaints either. They do have some of the most delicious pies.

This was a great find. The service is really fast and it’s just an old local place. It has a great menu and even has morning cocktails! I had the Northern Omelette which was excellent. I can’t wait to go back.

Not a friendly place for people of color. I was ignored by the waitress, had to find my table once it was ready. Will not be eating there any more.

Go for the omelets and hot apple cider, skip the coffee and biscuits with gravy. We didn’t have to wait long for a table or for service. Everyone was very friendly, but disarmingly loud. Both the host and the server were shout-announcing everything they do and everything you ordered. What ever happened to waitstaff listing things so they know who had what? Now, too often people just dismiss the notion of being un-intrusive and happily interrupt conversation with shouts of what you ordered to the whole place. On occasion, this actually seemed to make babies around us cry. «HEREISYOURBOOTH! DOYOUWANTCOFFEE? WHOORDEREDTHEHAMANDCHEESEOMELET? WHOHADTHEVEGGIEOMELET? I AMGOINGTOCLEARTHISOUTOFYOURWAY!» You know… it’s friendly, but it gets really intrusive and obnoxious when waitstaff announce every move they make. That said, if you want that kind of noisy diner ambiance for the fun of it, sometimes that is really enjoyable if you came for a rowdy good time. I like a noisy diner for it’s music and laughter, not so much the shouting. The omelets really were delicious. They come with choice of potatoes or biscuits and gravy at an extra cost. The biscuits seemed old and a bit hard and the gravy was overly thickened broth without a trace of sausage or seasoning. Skip it. Try the potatoes, maybe they are better. But really, the omelet and toast were filling enough without any side. The coffee was good as a throwback if you are nostalgic for the bad, dusty tasting doughnut house coffee. They could use a better blend, but again, maybe regulars love it and it’s just not my thing. Friendly staff, go and see if it’s your thing. The pies looked great. I would go back for pie, but I like pie with good coffee.

Normally, I visit the East Side of Green Bay location. I’m just going to say that I love Julie’s. They are a local place that has good food. What makes me love this place is that I typically take my family there for breakfast/brunch food on weekends. I love their meat lover’s skillet and my daughter wolf’s down their chocolate chip pancakes. I have had better in a lot of places. But if you want awesome local food in Green Bay this is the place to visit. As a side note, not a bad Bloody Mary for Green Bay.

Arrived Sunday at around 12:30 and waited about 10 minutes, not too long. Upon being seated is where the experience took a turn for the worse — a long wait to even have someone talk to us about drinks and food didn’t help the experience. I ordered the Eggs, Potatoes, and Meat breakfast choosing scrambled, hash browns, and bacon respectively with a side of wheat toast. The eggs we’re fairly good if not a bit runny due to the steam/heat of them sitting on the plate due to it being for of an omelette style presentation minus anything on the inside. The hashbrowns however we’re awful, undercooked and cold when they came out. The only redeeming factor of this was the bacon which was crispy and not too greasy. I doubt I’ll return to Julie’s and if I do it would probably only be for trying the pies in the front windows that looked pretty good.
