We had a very short list when it came to what we wanted for our wedding cake: 1) The best buttercream frosting in town. 2) Nothing to worry about. We got both from Bake My Day. They did absolutely beautiful work creating a wedding cake that perfectly fit with our wedding day. We rented their antique cake stand to pull the whole look together. We went old school, chocolate and vanilla, were delighted because the flavors were just so darn good.(Their other flavors are just as tasty, too, we just wanted something we could be sure everyone would love.) It was so good we decided to have the top of the cake the next day instead of waiting for our anniversary. We plan on coming back next year to get a new cake for that celebration!

Great wedding cakes and cup cakes! Great service every time I’ve been there. They take care in making their cakes. They did our wedding cake and the cake was awesome. Everyone loved it!

Every time I go back home to Green Bay I make(not like it takes a lot of convincing) my mom stop by Bake My Day. My sister and I are a huge fan of cupcakes. But we both agree the best part about a cupcake is the actual cake. & Bake My Day has the best tasting cake ever! We it actually tastes JUSTLIKE Hansen’s bakery yang used to be on the east side of Green Bay. We’ve been to so many cupcakeries here in California, but we still prefer Bake My Day. They have such unique flavors(like lemon poppyseed, and peanut butter and jelly), and the proportion if cake and frosting is perfect. They also have AMAZING brownies, in about six different flavors. The peanut butter are out if this world. Bake My Day is a hidden gem, and I hope it stays around forever! Unlike Hansen’s. Oh I miss those doll cakes…

Weird, I came here to write a review about the cupcakes and the customer service and strangely enough the only other review mentions how great the customer service and the cupcakes were. I have one word: Nope. Let’s start with the cupcakes: I gave them a fair shake, getting four different flavors to try, along with a petit four and a brownie. The first cupcake was a Boston Crème Pie cupcake: Blech. It’s strange that a custard-filled cupcake could be dry, but dry it was. Under the layer of chocolate fudge frosting was another layer of what seemed to be straight fondant. It was tasteless and overly sweet. Next, I tried the key lime pie cupcake but it too had frosting that was one-dimensional(and that dimension was white sugar) and dry cake. The petit for was absolutely beautiful but rated a sad face when came to flavor. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I actually don’t want to even try the brownie. We’ve all had brownies that deliver sweetness instead of chocolate-y goodness and I just can’t suffer another disappointment. The customer service was, in a word, weird. Both bakery attendants seemed irritated and annoyed by having to come to the front of the store. They didn’t make me feel welcome and didn’t thank me for my purchase or anything. Really strange in a town where the retail workers tend to err on the side of way too friendly. Maybe this bakery is a front for some illegal business? It would explain the old cupcakes(seriously… they were practically antique) and kind of crappy attitudes.
