Tried this place for the first time and was very disappointed. I didn’t see guacamole on their menu so I asked if they had it and was told yes. Turns out they really don’t…just plain sliced avacado. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito with guacamole. First of all they need to learn how to fold a burrito because mine was just folded over so that both ends were left open. Everything about the burrito was extremely bland and borderline tasteless. I don’t think they used a single pinch of salt in anything. They’re salsas were terrible. I got one each of their green and red. They’re green was like green water with a hint of tomatillo… maybe. They’re red didn’t have even a tiny bit of salt in it and had no flavor what soever. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of one is because they are really nice people.

Great food! Amazing servings, only thing I would change is longer hours! Other then that this place is the best around lunch time if you’re in the area.

If you want authentic Mexican food that is delicious and will not ruin your budget, this is the place to go for Mexican Food in Greeley. I have been here several times(everytime I come to Greeley) and I love it. Do not expect anything fancy, it is a little shabby but who cares. The service is wonderful and friendly. The green chili sauce is to die for, the traditional Mexican Soup is so yummy, everything is fresh & homemade on site, including the tortillas. Skip the chain fancy places, this is a local owned restaurant… you must have their breakfast burritos. My fav is the Chorizo, potato & egg. Yummy Yummy Yummy

Yummy breakfast! Tasty eggs and chorizo with potatoes, with green chili on top. The green chili had good flavor, but wasn’t spicy. We asked for some spicy and the spoonfuls of red pepped things up significantly. Very much from scratch, though the chorizo was purchased. Will go back if in Greeley. Good stuff.

Staff is always friendly and prices are low. This is the real deal for that home-cooked authentic mexican food. i was very skeptical at first given the tight quarters and the building appearance, but the food and the staff keep me coming back for more.

This is the most authentic Mexican breakfast I’ve ever had outside of Southern California!!! Sooooo tasty. Tight eating quarters, but worth it! Very low prices too.

Best breakfast in Greeley. The tortillas are the best in Greeley as well. Lunch and dinner are not quite as good as breakfast, however, they are pretty good as well. If you’re expecting ambiance, and a well kept restaurant it might not be for you, but if you enjoy good food at a good price give it a shot!

If I had written this review 6 years ago this place would have gotten 4 stars for sure, but I feel like the food quality there has greatly deteriorated over the years. Back when I used to go to UNC(2003 — 2006) I used to go there about once a week. I used to order the smothered shredded beef burrito, and tamales by the dozen on Sundays. Also, being that my dorm room was about a block down from there we used to stumble over for a menudo to cure the hangover — fantastic medicine. HOWEVER, I returned to Greeley for business 3 times recently and every time I ate at Cisneros it was bad. What happened to the delicious food I was used to? The green chile was watered down and un-flavorful and the beef was completely flavorless! I still have a nostalgic sentiment for this place, but the food there nowadays sucks!

I was in Greeley. Apparently Mexican food here is better than Denver. My friend Unilocaled and found this place. Really small location and authentic, well really what do I know, but that’s what I figured when Spanish is spoken there. I love Chili Rellenos so I got that. The portion was pretty good and the price was great. Problems? The batter was mush. Literally mushy. Kind of a turn off. I would totally give this place 2 stars but the extra star you ask? HOMEMADETORTILLAS! I mean AMAZING. Think, good taste and a meal in themselves. I should have bought some, SOGOOD!

I visited here on a chilly December evening based on these reviews, and am happy to add my own praise. I’m working from a pretty small sample size(just me, and just one visit) but I can report that the service was friendly, my carne asada burrito was tasty; and the all-vegetable, no-tomato-sauce salsa accompanying the chips was unlike anything you’ll find at a Chili’s or a typical neighborhood Mexican or Tex-Mex establishment. I was sorry not to be able to sample more of the menu, and hope to make it back here again soon.

It is a good place to get real mexican food, probably the only place in Greeley that tastes like moms kitchen cooking. It looks a little deceitful because of the location and atmosphere but worth it. You have to try it out sometime when you are in Greeley. I would recommend this place as the place to go for real mexican food.

While I was attending UNC, this was my favorite Mexican restaurant. For lunch or dinner, nothing beats their smothered burritos and chips and salsa. The owner is usually running the order window. He barely speaks English, but his huge smile and friendly demeanor say it all. They have a very small dining area inside, but they also have a few tables on the patio as well. Some weekend, I will take the hour and a half trek to indulge in my old favorite. :)
