It seems that he totally ignored everything we spoke about before surgery. I now have a very uncomfortable bump on my septum on one side which the side of my nasal wall hits and sticks against every time I attempt to breathe. The grafts he put in all move out of places and make clicking noises on side walls of my nose. My nose still collapses pretty badly. I can’t breathe and still have headaches due to the collapse. He failed to do the nasal valve collapse even after assuring me many times that he has done many and that he will fix it with great success. It was an absolute horror disappointment and failure. I cannot believe that my nose collapses just as bad as it did before my surgery after having to put me through this hell with anesthesia and recovery which took a lot longer than he claimed. I was under the knife for many hours for this surgery and my smell is altered and my nose has not been improved even a bit. I will need a lot of money and time to do the surgery all over again and hope that I can get it fixed somehow with a much experienced and honest doctor

I am truly impressed with Dr. Monhian’s work ethic. He truly cares about his patients. His exams are thorough, and he is always available to answer your questions in office or by phone. I was shocked that he took the time to call me multiple times to talk to me about my blood work results. I always recommend him to anyone looking for an ENT.

I just had sinus surgery, it’s life changing experience. I was always tired even if
I slept for 8 hours.
first I was very hesitant with him because he looks very young, thought he might not
have had enough experience. but he did pretty good job.

Can’t believe I’ve never written a review for Dr. Monhian.
Lets go back… to 5 years ago, when I first started experiencing dizziness for weeks and weeks that was only getting worse by the day.
To make matters worse, my right ear was throbbing, and I went to my regular doctor, who said,
«It’s all in your head. Nothing is wrong with you.»
Okay, so after that prognosis, I’m thinking I’m going crazy. Two weeks later, with the family breaking bread around the Thanksgiving Dinner table, I end up collapsing. (And, no I didn’t even get to eat anything– nice timing on my part).
Rushed to LIJ and I’m screaming in pain, my ear felt like someone had sawed if off and spilled acid down what was left of my ear canal. The ER doctor looks at my ear and says,
«Shes fine, put drops in it.»
Okay, so now my entire family thinks im being my typical drama queen self. Yet they still prescribed me pain killers. The following morning, I can’t even walk straight, the pain was that unbearable. My mom Googles ENT’s, and Monhian was the first to come up in the search. By the time I got to the his office, I almost collapsed. He reacted so fast, he took one look in my ear and saw a huge infected bubble blocking my ear drum. The infection was so bad, he told me I was probably going to lose 50% of my hearing in my right ear.
I was terrified!!!
TWO doctors missed this!!! Where the hell are the people getting their degrees? He told me he would do everything in his power to prevent that. This dude prescribed the right meds from the start. He would spend so much time looking at the X-​rays, trying to figure out the best way to go about killing the infection. He was so positive, he always made me feel like I was going to be okay. After 4 months of pills, draining etc. Ladies and gents I have perfect hearing in both my ears and I owe everything to this man. I’ve been back to his office a few times since that whole ordeal, and no matter what I’ve ever gone to him for he has always helped me.
His wife is also a cosmetologist and she’s amazing. I believe she still works out of his office a couple of times a week. You can call the office to make an appointment.
