Walmart Supercenter

This Wal-​Mart is kept very clean and seems to be well-​managed. I’ve always found the staff working there to be quite friendly and some are even helpful.

I have heard many people say if they had purchased something that didn’t work or wuit working, they could take it back to Wal-​Mart and didn’t have any trouble getting money back or a new one. I have even known people who had something for a long time and needed money so they took what the had been using and took it back and got their money back. NOT ME. I bought a phone about a month ago, admittedly it was an inexpensive one but after a month, it wouldn’t work. I had thrown the box away because I am moving and they gave me a big hassle. The customer service person told me to go back to appliances and get one exactly like ti so they would have the bar code. I did this, a young man immiediately said if you donb’t have the receipt, I can’t help you. I told him what the customer service person said and he helped me find the box like Ihad purchased and showed me some other phones. He was not a salesperson at all, didn’t offer to tell me anything about any other phone. He did not say a word to me about his having the authority to say the phone could or could not be returned. When I finished my other shopping, I went to the service counter again and another person was there (she had been there the first time, but wasn’t the one who waited on me. I told her I had the box wisth the UPC code and she said they called from back there and they wouldn’t accept the refune. I told them they could keep their stuff and I wouldn’t be back.
