Cupcakes are to die for! We had them at our wedding and I think they went faster than the dinner! Livia is enjoyable to work with and makes tasting so much fun! So many amazing flavors to choose from. My personal favorite was the gluten free chocolate orange! Try it you will be happy

I wanted to thank Livia and Margaret for all the planning they did to make our son’s wedding that much more special. The cupcakes were amazingly delicious and the displays were beautiful. Most of all they were a pleasure to work with. I recommend 100%.

I used Barrington Bites for my wedding this past weekend in lieu of a cake– I can’t say enough good things about them. Not only are the cupcakes to die for, the lovely ladies that bake them are absolutely amazing people that made my fiancé and I feel like family. Our guests loved trying the different flavors. We will absolutely visit every time we are in the area.

As stated in previous reviews, this cupcake shop is located in the back of the Chef’s Shop. Cute set up with very cute cupcakes. I personally thought the bite size cupcakes were a little dry but I did like the fact that they weren’t too sweet. They only have the bitesize versions as I didn’t see any full size cupcakes on display when I went. The woman there was very sweet and patient as she explained all the flavors of cupcakes to me.

Very friendly service. We were offered Irish tea when we walked in(St. Patty’s day). The mini gourmet cupcakes are wonderful. You have to get at least a dozen!

Heaven in bite-sized form! Barrington Bites has easily become one of my favorite cupcake sellers anywhere, inside or outside of NYC. A trip to get a baby Vanilla Chai cupcake is now on my «list of things to do» whenever I go home to Connecticut to visit my parents. Situated in the rear of the Chef’s Shop, this is a gourmand’s fantasy: you can look at Le Creuset mini casserole dishes while indulging in mini cupcakes. It’s a sinfully delicious fantasy come true. The staff in the back are beyond lovely, and they are always ready to explain flavors, ingredients, and offer samples. There is usually an assortment of the day with your basics(I almost always see Red Velvet, Vanilla Chai, and basic chocolate and vanilla flavors when I visit), along with lots of fun ones. They had a new Raspberry Lime Ricky last time I was there!(Oh, and how I wish I tried it…) Some other excellent flavors I have seen sold are Chocolate Chai, Banana Walnut, Chocolate Orange, Lemon Drop, Pink Lemonade, Carrot Cake, and I must mention their GLUTEN-FREE ginger as well. Simply put, these cupcakes are the tops. Lastly, I commend them for using real cream cheese frosting on their Red Velvet.(Says the Red Velvet Purist… haha…)

While traveling all over the U.S., I eat cupcakes every state I’m in, every chance I get. Barrington Bites are itty bitty bites of goodness. Flavor selection is nicely varied — 4 basic, 2 filled, 2 gluten free, and 2 seasonal(or something like that), a red velvet, a peanut butter, and a coconut. I got a box of 6…2 pumpkin, 1 chocolate mint filled, 2 ginger and a salted caramel. All were unbelievably moist and melt in your mouth. Pumpkin was maybe my fave with salted caramel in close second.(Although I would’ve preferred more salt, but that is simply because I crave salt.) The boxes are well constructed and make for easy transportation, which is important if you’re bringing them to a party or event. And the employees were extremely gracious and friendly. They are located in the back of the Chef Shop, so look for them there!
