Mel Metts

Mel recently helped my husband and I rent out our townhouse in Mundelein. We’d actually met with him over a year ago when we were first thinking about our options (sell, rent, etc) and he came to our first meeting prepared with a market value estimate and very clearly laid out what each option meant. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge and we were very grateful for his guidance. When it came time to rent out our townhouse, I contacted Mel again and I was impressed at how much he remembered about us and our situation. He did a great job of putting together comparable rental properties to give us a good idea about pricing. It took a while to find a renter due to our timing of putting it on the market, but Mel was diligent about screening each applicant, keeping up the MLS/​Craigslist listings, etc. He really pushed us to find a good renter and did his due diligence with background checks, etc. He knows what red flags to watch for, which was hugely appreciated. I agree with the other reviewers that he will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Thank you Mel!

We used Mel to sell our house and had an excellent experience. My husband and I had a quick relocation after an internal job transfer at his work, so we used Mel because he is very experienced both in renting out and selling homes. He will really bend over backwards for you. Our house was closed on about a month after being listed. We would highly recommend Mel for any renting or selling transaction!
