It all started with a knock on our door. The roofer asked to inspect our roof. There was a violent hail storm that caused damage to many roofs, he said. Having driven through that storm I was well aware of the potential damage. My car looks awful due to that storm. As expected, there was damage to our roof, gutters and siding. After picking out all the samples it was time to start the project.
First the roof. The team arrived around 7 and worked till 6:30. They ripped off the existing two roofs and followed code when replacing the roof. They hauled away all the garbage and picked up every piece of garbage they could find.
Then the siding. The siding took two days due to complications. Who knew we were missing several sheets of plywood under our siding. Our house had always been drafty. The siding company put on new plywood. Then they covered the house in Tyvek and then put up the siding. The house looked fantatic.
Last was the gutters. A one day quick job.
Robert from Advanced worked with us throughout the process. I had many questions and he answered them all. He was patient and informative. I highly recommend using Robert.
We are at the end of the process (waiting for reimbursement from insurance), so I will update if anything changes.
