Drove out here today for a day trip to find they’re closed for the day due to the weather. It’s summer and mid-August! There’s no rain and they close the restaurant as well?!? I will not return! Lazy Gators in Osage Beach rocks!

I highly recommend not going to this sorry excuse for a restaurant. The alcohol is almost non existent. The food is very mediocre with a premium price. I overhead an exchange with the owner and I choose to never go here again. There are plenty of places with good customer service on the lake.

Mixed feelings. Good for having a party and music. Gf and I got the club wrap which was a 2 out of 5. Kind of a wet mess. Some slop rolled into a wrap and served. We didn’t finish the wrap. The Margarita was great. I did order a hurricane and that was unfinishable. Light in the booze to where you couldn’t even taste it and easy overly sweetened. Tasted like a pixie stick and cool aid. Ask the waitress if I could exchange it for something else and was told«no you can’t exchange but you can pay for something else». That was crappy customer service and looking out for the guest. Also the lime slices are so skimpy on the drinks that you can’t even squeeze them. Don’t skimp on the limes! I don’t think you could cut them any smaller to save money for the business.

I had the fish tacos tonight. They were very tasty. Service was fantastic. Great atmosphere. Kids played bags. Had a great time. I highly recommend coming here.

I loved Coconuts! My one and only trip to Vegas the weather was kind of a bust, so Coconuts seemed to be what I assume Vegas pools are like but in a much less pressured environment(read: midwest looks, everyone’s all natural and real here). We came here on a boat bar crawl for a bachelorette party and didn’t want to leave to go to the next bar! There’s a swim up bar with swings in the water, music blasting, volleyball on land. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about there being a pool at a bar, picturing movies/tv shows where there’s just a pool at a party and no one is getting in, but the way the bar is set up everyone’s in and having a good time. The«host» was a bit obnoxious, but I guess that adds to the fun. My only concern was the debauchery they’re encouraging on their water«stage/platform». Getting up there shaking it is one thing, but the host encouraged a girl to do backflips up there! It’s not a very wide platform and considering it’s all covered in water she easily could have slipped and become paralyzed. Maybe that’s just nine years of working at a pool talking, but it blew my mind that they not only allowed that but cheered her on. If I make it back down to Lake of the Ozarks I’d love to stay somewhere closer to Coconuts, since we were disappointed the next day when we wanted to return and realized it was almost an hour from the house we were renting. Oh well, some day!

Love love love this place. We are at the rentals. The rentals are amazing very nice. This place is interesting. Very very loud during the day then quiet by 8 pm. Almost shuts down at dark My only recommendation is to eliminate the dj. He seems nice but I spent tons less money in the pool bar because I had to get away from him. Went to the hillbilly bar down the cove and drank when the dj was so annoying I couldn’t do it any longer Overall. This place was great. The staff was attentive and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The fish tacos were good.

Loved this place! Great drinks, had the Skinny Dip and it was great. Everyone at the pool looked like they were having fun & the music was great! The staff was friendly & the girls at the dock were helpful with tying our boat docked in a pretty windy day. I was only there for 2 hours but I’d go back anytime!

Coconuts is an awesome place to find if you’re coming off the lake! The have a great little restaurant located on the«resort» and the food is great! The service is fantastic, and the environment and atmosphere is fun! The have a neat little gift shop, several pool side bars, and other great areas! Oh! You can also take airplane tours that take off and land right here on the lake. Haven’t done it yet, but definitely will in the future! I highly recommend visiting Coconuts if you’re on The Lake Of The Ozarks!

Coconuts is a great lake-side bar & grill with substantial boat parking and a fun, casual atmosphere. If you’re looking for a convenient lunch spot for a big day on the Lake, Coconuts is the place for you. They offer a variety of seafood and traditional American entrees. I especially like their steak and cheese sandwich! They also have a full bar with some awesome cocktails. Coconuts is a fun place for both kids and adults.

I was only here for about an hour on a boat cruise but had a super great time! Hopping pool party with DJ and a ton of people in the pool dancing and drinking. We ordered food first and it came quickly and our server was on top of things with checks and to-go containers since we were on a time limit. At least 3 bars that we saw and a nice deck seating area overlooking the pool scene. Great crowd of people, very friendly! Delicious chicken quesedillas, add the onions and green peppers! Also had the best drink of the trip here, a lime piña colada that had real lime shavings in it and tasted so fresh and not overly sweet like most of the icey drinks around the lake.

This was a fun place with a very fun staff! They were very pet friendly and there is a variety of on site activities from swim up pool to boat rentals. If your looking for lots of action and cool bartenders? Try this on any weekend during the summer. The gift shop was closed but they opened it right up for us, and they have a great view right on the lake.

This place is delightfully ridiculous! While I don’t think I’d go to a place like this in my normal life, Bizarro-World Vacation Matt loves these kinds of cheeseball tourist traps! We dock our boat and are immediately impressed that this place has a beach area and a TON of people(our previous bar experiences at the lake had been sad and lonely). As we walk down the dock we start discovering more and more WTF type situations. SO, it has a GIANT pool area, that is really just a bar that allows you to wade around waist-deep in water. On a super hot day, that’s more than welcome. The eye candy here is pretty on-point, and the people watching rages from intriguing to train-wreck. I’ll take it! And what goes better with this scenario than a bucket of rum punch? At $ 14 it’s not the cheapest, but it is a HUGE drink and I could actually taste the booze, so that’s a bonus. There are games out the wazoo, with a beach dedicated to volleyball, a giant set-up of ladder golf, and other random amusements throughout the spot. Throw in a large number of areas for seating and getting some sun, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for fun. We weren’t here for long, as we were eager to get back on the boat. But next year at the lake I’ll be lobbying hard for a visit to Coconuts.

We found this place while boating on the lake. It’s a pretty cool place. There is a girl that helps you dock the boat when you pull up which is very helpful. The wait staff is very friendly and service is fast. Food is pretty good. We tried the taco salad and coconut shrimp. Pricewise, it was comparable to most places. They have a pool for adults only since it has a bar. There is a sand volleyball court. There is a small beach area for kids to play in. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area boating.

This is a fun place to go for food and drinks! It is fun having a pool to swim in instead of the lake, for a change! The pool says no children allowed, but every time we go there, kids are in the pool! Would be nice if they would enforce their own rules! Don’t order the steak quesadilla, as its expensive and its not steak, just sliced beef!

*** Don’t come here *** This was by far the biggest letdown/disappointment of my lake vacation, and even the whole summer. I have always wanted to try this place when I went down to the lake, but due to the fact it is all the way in Gravois Mills, I never made it out. Finally this time down, I planned this as an activity with my parents, our family friends who are elderly(they live on the lake and have been here when they first opened), and my best friends. My friends arrive before me, and try to be seated just the two of them. They tell them they are only seating large parties, and would have to wait until we all arrive. They were very put off by that, and wanted to leave, but we were only a few miles away, and I talked them into staying, because as I stated I was very excited to see/try it. If only someone like me wrote a review to warn me away I could have saved us the trouble. First thing I noticed as all the drunken 20 somethings by the pool. I was hoping to get in the pool there and relax, but it was so overcrowded, and people weren’t getting out, yet pounding beers, so that thing had to be Pee City! Ick! We are seated shortly after we arrive, and looking at the menu about caused my wallet to have a heart attack. We had looked at the original menu that our family friends had, which was from last year. Since then, the prices have went up anywhere from 25−50% depending on the item. I was looking forward to a buffalo chicken pizza, but for a 14″ pizza, it was 24 dollars. I have never seen that small of a pizza that costly. Sarah and I decided to share the nacho’s, so we could have a few drinks. The nachos were very plain and boring. No real flavor to speak of. My mom and dad shared chicken tenders, which they said were okay, but the fries were cold, stale and overall unappealing. My best friend and his girlfriend ordered coconut shrimp, which were okay, although cold when they came out, but good flavor. His girlfriend ordered a BLT, but didn’t want the garlic mayo on it. Sadly, it arrived with it just dripping with the stuff. Our family friends had ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. When it came out it was very, very burnt. We were all starving, and the waitress was nowhere to be found, so we picked around the food a bit that we didn’t care for, just to get something in our stomachs, especially since the food took close to a half hour to come out after we ordered it. Once the waitress came back out, we attempted to send back our food for new stuff, but none ever came. We inquired about this, and she just thought we were done with the food, rather than needing it exchanged, even though we cleared told her to take it, and show it to the manager/owner and see if he things it was acceptable. Eventually the owner comes over to our table, and speaks with us about the experience. All the time he was very combative, cocky, and rude to my mom, who generally is the one who takes charge of these situations, as she was in the food service industry for 20+ years. He refused to take any of our food back, give any substitutions, or remove any of the charges from the bill. After a very heated back and forth, he says«I am not going to do anything for you(my mom, but I will do something for her(my family friend)» and storms off. He comes back, still having not removed any charges from the bill, and brings her instead a nasty looking piece of orange cake for our troubles… Never apologizing for how bad of a time we had, or trying to remedy the situation. All in all, this was my worst culinary and service experience this entire year, and maybe ever… especially for such a hyped place. I don’t know if he will see this review or not, but if he does I would expect a full apology, and some sort of grand gesture to change my mind about this place. I won’t be back, and neither will any of the large circle of friends we know at the lake.

How dumb are we? We have lived at the lake for years… used to go this way to the since-closed«Time Out» and have not come this far back since Jolly Roger opened. We were almost embarrassed when they asked us if this was our first time here this summer… they have been open for at least 4 years? Awesome place… bar, bar by the beach, bar by the pool, bar IN the pool… SWINGS at the bar in the pool! LOVED that! My 12 and 16 year old were bummed that the pool was for adults as they were a bit old for the beach set of 6 year olds… they did give the trampoline a try and it was a great laugh to watch my kids struggle to climb up while the 6 year olds shimmied on up! I agree with everyone-there were four of us and I paid about $ 85 for 3 meals(two people shared) 2 kid daiquiris and two adult limeades with rum. That’s a lot no matter who you are. I get it… you are paying for amenities, but that’s over the top for lunch! We had a good time though and give super kudos out to Michael the guy at the gas dock who helped us dock the boat and get gas… we are lacking in skill in this area, sadly, and he was super patient and helpful!

I was at the family lake house last weekend to celebrate my grandma’s birthday. Somehow, «celebrating grandma’s birthday» turned into«leave grandma at the house and go get drunk at Coconuts.» Sorry, grandma! The swim-up bar is fun, and a nice change of pace when you get sick of floating on rafts in your own cove. It’s especially fun when your aunt is wasted and buying round after round of Rum Runners(with an extra shot, of course). Great people watching in the pool, too. A lot of 20-somethings and bros, as well as older hairy gentlemen in gold chains and women showing off their boob jobs. It’s an easy boat trip from our place on the Gravois arm, so I know I’ll be back!
