History

Established in 2011.

Shop owner Marcie has been a collector of antique and vintage items for her own home décor for many years. With her love of all things vintage she decided to join an antique coop with a small space and did well. With the encourage of her husband she opened her own shop in 2011. She has had great success with her business which has been well received by the residents of downtown Grass Valley California.

Take a step back into your GreatGranmother’s or Grandma’s house!
I’ve lived in GV for over 30 years and have seen shops come and go. My daughter-​in-​law and I just happened on this shop! It’s more than an antique store, it’s a museum!
Marcie, the owner, is so sweet; you can tell she has spent more than an afternoon or two collecting everything from cookie jars, enamel ware, FireKing, and a host of linens (chenille!) that will bring on tears from nostalgia!
Everything is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN AND ORGANIZED!
It will be my first stop for anyone who needs a gift from the past!

/​Nevada city area. Such a clean a cute store! Marcie is very creative and brings that creativity to her store. Her love for antiques and vintage items shines throughout her perfectly decorated store. She has some local hand made items as well, great for gifts! If you want to get a blast from the past this is the place to go.

I absolutely love The Vintage Menagerie! If you want to find one of a kind vintage gifts you need to visit this shop. They also carry chalk paint… Old Town Paints, in an array of colors and the waxes for the different finishes on your project. So much fun!
