We got three quotes for this move. Rickey’s was a lot cheaper than the others. They showed up on time, were careful with our furniture, and finished right on schedule. Hassle free. I would use them again.

I can’t say enough good things about this moving company. I’ve used Patrick’s moving services 3 times in the past year and a half. Every time they have been on time, courteous, and always got the job done in a professional manner. When a small statuette was chipped in moving Patrick had a professional restore it to like-​new status at his expense. I called Pat yesterday to see if he could possibly change my move scheduled for the end of the week and he sent two great guys out this morning. They assembled a complicated platform bed in my new place like it was a «piece of cake»! Couldn’t be happier with this moving company!

I hired this company last February for a simple pack and load. When I arrived at my destination I was mortified to find my grandmothers China shattered along with several vintage pieces. There were many things stolen. As the holidays approach, I open up boxes only to discover everything smashed. Nothing wrapped. My vintage Tinker Bell Christmas collection that I have been collecting for over 20 years in pieces. Over half of them are gone. I was charged 800 dollars and when I complained, I was refunded 300 dollars. Thousands of dollars and sentimental items gone later, I continue to find how unprofessional this company is. Do not use them to move a dog house! It was only pack and load. They did not have to unload. I paid for supplies to wrap my breakables. Instead I find metal pans and plastic wrapped and glass items not. Who does this? WARNING! Beware, these people are frauds and dishonest.

These guys are amazing!!! They unloaded my storage and moved everything to my house. They were laughing and smiling with each, they acted like they loved their job. No attitudes. I would have these guys move me again if I move. I will absolutely tell my family and friends to use these guys. Best part… they are so nice! If there were 10 stars I would give it to them. Pat and crew did a great job at a very reasonable price. They arrived early, worked hard and wasted no time. Pat’s easy going demeanor made an otherwise stressful event a lot easier to handle. Jordan, Chris and Ben kept it light and were very professional. No bumps, no breaks, no problems. We will highly recommend them.

Pat Rickey’s moving company made my move care free. They were easy to schedule, arrived on time and just took care of business in the shortest time possible. All of my furniture arrived in perfect shape like it never left home. Thank you Pat!

These guys are the best of the best! My husband and I have worked with Pat and his crew twice now and we’d recommend them to anyone and everyone. They’re very careful and also very fast — a great combination. Not only did they take measures to protect our furniture, they were exceptionally careful about not tracking dirt into the house. They were on time and obviously cared about doing a really great job. We’ll definitely call them the next time we need help moving.

I called Tuesday for a move Thursday on Wednesday unexpected things happened on our drive up from San Diego so I called right away and told Patrick we can’t unload the truck until Friday at this point he said yes I can make that work it will have to be between 4 – 5 pm though .
I said okay just keep me updated and he reassured me to have no worries and promised to be there Friday afternoon !! So on Friday I spoke with Patrick in the morning he told me his crew would call and give me a update witch I never revived !!
So 5 pm rolls around and Patrick gives me a call to say his guys are to tired and we can’t do it today
Would it be ok if we came tomorrow? I told him I have a lot riding on getting this done today. At this point Patrick attitude switched and he went off telling me I fit you in last minute you can’t be mad.
I told him you promised me and his response was rudely you promised me you would be there Thursday.
It would have been nice if Patrick didn’t guarantee availability on Friday. I would would have looked elsewhere instead of waiting all day for his crew and then not showing up last minute .
Note:
I understand the guys worked a long day and we’re tired I just feel the situation could have been handled differently had his communication been more accurate. I also feel it was unnecessary for Patrick to be rude to a prospective paying customer.

I called Patrick for help moving a heavy dresser that I couldn’t get into my house by myself.
He was at my house in fifteen minuets, (I live nearby) and he made it look easy.
I will call Patrick again the next time that I need help.

We used Gold Country Movers to load a U-​Haul Truck for my mother-in-law’s move a few weeks ago. From my first phone call to Pat, he gave me excellent advice on moving logistics and recommended movers in the Portland area. He even helped my mother in law save $ 150 on the U-​Haul Truck! They were honest, caring and very efficient in loading the truck. I would highly recommend them!

Patrick and his coworker loaded 2 26′ and 1 20′ truck for us. They were on time, very hard working non stop and loaded all 3 trucks top to bottom, back to front with no space left unpacked in trucks. Lots of antiques and glass table tops and mirrors and not one thing damaged in loading.
My wife and I loaded trucks moving up a few years ago and came nowhere close to loading the same amount in each truck as they did.
I can say we will use no one else in future moves except for them. Exceptional to find people that you can trust with your belongings and loaded the right way.

Patrick made my move almost fun. He replied to my first inquiry within an hour, came and gave me an estimate the next day, then checked in a few times to make sure everything was on schedule. The move day was so systematic with expert organization skills and load quality that made everything fit into the truck like a glove.
At the end of the day I felt like I was working with my own brother getting things done.
I will definitely use Patrick and his guys for the next phase of my move and share the experience with anyone else having to do this task.
