Bottle Shop

I would give this place 0 stars and a lawsuit if I could. Every year for Christmas my family gets lotto tickets for stocking stuffers. This year my family won a decent amount of money off the scratchers and we went here to cash them in. We always double check if the tickets are winners, or if we missed any. We are also educated people and we added up the total multiple times to make sure there was no mistake. We went in and cashed in our tickets, and we we’re told the total was $ 34 less than what we added. When my mother and I confronted him he shooed us off and said he had other customers to worry about. We demanded our tickets back and added them up, and behold we were correct with the amount, and this man was trying to pocket the money. I say this because we had a $ 20 winner and it said it was already cashed when we scanned it again, however it wasn’t on our receipt. He was extremely rude to my mother so I stepped in and yelled at him. He then finally added up all the tickets and excluded the $ 20 one and a few others. I then called the slime out on his crime and he then said something to the effect of «okay I owe you more» and he paid us and we left. We we’re going to confront the manager, but my mother didn’t want to make a scene. Never will give this ass business again.

I was sent by my sister to The Bottle Shop to pick up a bottle of Tisdale cab for her oxtail stew. When I walked in it wasn’t hard to find as it’s right in front. I walked over and looked at them as I was given explicit instructions to get something «ballsy» (recipe verbiage not mine) and it’s not my money I’m spending. I asked if the Cabernet was the «ballsy’est red from Tisdale? The gentleman behind the counter (a large-​build dark haired man) points at the display and says „it’s right there.“ Fine. So u grabbed a bottle and brought it up and he begins to tell me that 3bottles would be cheaper. I explained that my sister is cooking a stew with this and she only ordered 1. It’s not my call to spend more of her money. So, he shrugs and I bought the bottle. I got to my car and was about to drive out when my sister calls and asks me to grab 3 as she just heard that they are on sale. So I walked back in with the bottle that I had just purchased and set it on the counter and said,“she wants three.» This guys looks at me and says,“Now I’m not giving you the deal.” I said,“really?” And he said,” you should have done that when I told you to, now I’m not giving you that deal. I will give you 2 for 5.99.” So, total cost for me was $ 10.00. Because I didn’t do what he said to do 5 minutes earlier as I was not spending my own money. REALLY?!? I’ve been in that store many times over the years and the staff was soo incredibly helpful and kind. I guess I will not be shopping there anymore. Sad :(

This place is my kind of heaven. Whenever I speak to people about cocktails or interesting drinks I can’t help but direct them here. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and eager to help with any questions.
