A to Z Supply

My fiancé and I recently moved to the Morgan Ranch area of Grass Valley. I see A to Z hardware everyday en route to the local middle school. With the warm weather upon us, we wanted to started our garden and so we were off to Kmart to visit their garden center. As we were leaving, I suggested we check out A to Z and so we went there and I am thrilled beyond words that we did! As stated in every previous review, the customer service is top notch and the staff is super knowledgeable. Not only did we pick up our veggie starters, but we grabbed some sod for back yard, as well. When we got home, we realized that we were 3 rolls short and so I called the next morning to ask them to hold 3 more for us and that my fiancé would pick them up after work. Without even telling her our names, she remembered us from the day prior and advised she would hold the sod under Matt’s name. This is what small town service is all about. We have literally been there 3 more times since our first visit last week!

We live very close to another hardware store in town, but sometimes what we want is only at Ace. The staffer are very friendly and helpful. They advertised specialized allergy air filters on sale at a very good price, and when I called, they did not have the size I needed, but the man offered to order them for me at the sale price. Of course, I did that, and am very happy. An all-​around excellent store.

I was referred to them from Hills Flat Lumber (also pretty good). A to Z carried exactly what I was looking for (¾″ sprinkler heads). No one else in the area carried them. They also had an abundance of nozzles of various sizes which I was also looking for. Great experience so far!

I recently bought a house in Grass Valley and found A to Z to be the closest hardware store. Having the money in my pocket to pick and choose hardware stores all around town, this one has the best customer service you can find. First off, this place is a kids maze. «I need 2 inch wood screws.» — «Sure, head down the stairs, open the railing, open the next door, head left, then you’ll find the spinning screw holder, it’ll be in the back.»
Besides lumber this place has it all. I go in because the staff is super friendly and knowledgable.

Their customer service is best in county. They have a very experienced staff that can advise the best way to do projects.

I drop by this location every spring and stock up on plant starts. Organic veggie starts and flowers.

Their website sucks but their customer service is awesome and they have a lot product to choose from at decent prices.
