First timer here today, and was pleasantly surprised. I drove from Bel Air to meet up with a friend. I started with the French Onion Soup… Wow! That was the first French Onion soup that actually was made like they used to when I was a kid, not that murky water with croutons version they make today. This actually had a thick, rich beef broth, plenty of cooked onions, a slice of French bread, and provolone cheese, and it was HOT, not lukewarm. Yum. Kudo’s to the chef who finally captured the correct blend of ingredients. Following this I had the Hot Oven Turkey sandwich with creamy mashed potatoes, a good portion of turkey, gravy, delicious cole slaw, and cranberry sauce. My friend had the Oyster Po Boy, and it was huge, she enjoyed it. It was fried Oysters with bacon sprinkled over them on a toasted bun. Being so full, because you won’t leave with a growling stomach, that’s for sure, we opted to take home dessert… Smith Island Cake… it’s so big, I couldn’t eat it all in one sitting… I think I’ll have it for breakfast… double yum. I can’t wait to go back there again in the Spring.

Food is good and wait staff is friendly but the men’s bathroom is horrible. There was urine all over the floor and Ali felt like I was going to slip and fall. No paper towels the entire evening and the toilet was filthy.

I come out to this area about once a year for some underwater activities and my local friends always want to have lunch as Annie’s when we’re done. My knowledge only runs on their breakfast-lunch menu, but that knowledge is that the food of great! Let’s run down the list of the good – Food — beef and fish. I’ve had both and loved both there! Beer — they make their own… yum! Service — fantastic. This a very casual and welcoming place. Parking — plentiful and close. That’s the quick and dirty. If you are anywhere close to these guys I suggest a visit. If I lived closer I’m pretty sure these guys always be on my short list for places to eat.

Annie’s has awesome food and the best cream of crab soup. Their bar area is a great place to meet for drinks and watch sports and their dining room is an elegant dining experience. Two great places in one !!

Husband and I make it a point to go here a few times a year. Best cream of Crab soup in Maryland! The prime rib is fantastic, always cooked to perfection. Other favorites of ours are the french dip, their fries, and the ultimate BLT. Prices are a little high for dinner, but food is worth it. Pricing for lunch is good. Just stopping in — go and sit in the sports bar to eat, relaxed atmosphere and faster service. Special occasion — sit in the dining room, great views and ambiance.

We were suppose to go to the bar across the street but it was closed on mondays. This restaurant is half sports bar half formal dining room. Opted for the dining room. The cream of crab soup was incredible! My mahi wrap was pretty good. My friends steak was tough. The service was extremely slow tho! Took an hour to get two sandwiches and a steak. This review is basically written for the incredible cream of crab soup!

Annie’s is our favorite restaurant on Kent Island. Don’t miss their amazing cream of crab soup. It is absolutely the best I’ve ever had. They have a varied menu, so everyone can find something. The waitstaff is attentive. We love the view from the dining room of the water and marina. We had a steak that was a big disappointment one time, and they gave us a $ 25 gift card. But we’ve eaten there quite a few times, so that hasn’t discouraged us from returning. They’re a little pricey, but worth it.

One word, Disappointed with a capital D. Yep. I figured it was on the water, so the seafood has to be good right? Wrong. The place looks old and outdated. The carpet is really dirty. Now the food. First we started with bacon wrapped scallops and they were fine. We both ordered a stuffed fish dish for entrée. Bad decision. The crab stuffing was dry and lacked flavor. The fish was undercooked. Alcoholic beverage was sweet but lacked the alcohol! My company was great and we enjoyed the breeze from the water, so we made the best of it. I chalked it up to an experience. We live and learn. I expected so much better for the high price they charge.

Annie’s Cream of Crab soup is my all-time favorite. Annie’s has both a dining room and a casual bar area. Best dinner we’ve ever had here. Steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Appetizer Ahi was stunning! Service was spectacular. Thank you, Meghan!

This restaurant was highly recommended by coworkers and hotel staff in the area. The food was awesome and the service was good. I had a 9 oz sirloin with baked potato and a salad and we had wings as an appetizer. My coworker had a steak and tuna tataki, which he said were very good also. My only complaint was that the place needs a major facelift. It’s not a restaurant where I would really go on a regular basis because to be honest the ambience is kind’ve stuffy and very dated.

Not the cheapest on the island but a good sports bar. Food and service consistently good although I usually do the bar or brunch on Sunday’s. Bar is set up like a sports bar and the dining area for Kent Island is formal I guess.

By far the finest steakhouse on KI. Whether it’s their MNF Buffett, their fantastic Mother’s Day Brunch Buffett, an outstanding lunch or a relaxing dinner over looking the Kent Narrows waterway for an awesome romantic ambiance with the live piano in the background. We always enjoy the great service and excellent food. We have been long time patrons since 1996. We would drive from Baltimore on a weekly basis to dine at this great steakhouse. We since have moved to KI and Annie’s is our spot for our romantic evenings to enjoy each other and to break the daily grind of our busy lives. Mr. Mike(owner) always greets us and makes us feel like family as if we are at his home breaking bread with his family. EXCELLENT menu that is sure to have something for everyone in your party. Annie’s is a high quality main stay on Kent Island. It doesn’t matter what we get it’s always amazing. My wife love’s the Prime Rib. We both love their cream of crab and I love their Porterhouse Steak. We also love how easy it is to park in their large waterfront parking lot.

Annie’s was a birthday disaster! My party of 10 was seated right away which was great for a slow Sunday afternoon. However, my meal was less than desired. Food was priced too high for the quality. The stuffed shrimp was meh! Mediocre… the steak was tough and lacked seasoning and flavor. My food came out cold(deep sigh) and then it all went down hill from there. The manager on duty was so rude, she snapped at our server, slammed plates down and abruptly snatched plates from our table. I will NEVER go back. It was a terrible experience. Since I have to pick a star rating I would only give ½ a star… Annie’s was just that bad.

We have had the same younger male server the past few times and he is a GEM. So friendly and attentive. They’ve added some new menu items, but I haven’t gotten past the new portobello burger and the«bacon avocado lettuce and tomato»(BALT) burger. So delicious. This place is once again my #1 pick for a night out on Kent Island.

I went here today(9⁄21) for brunch and let me say it was a roller coaster of an experience. First, my wife made a reservation over a week ago and when we arrive we are told they can’t find it. The hostess(a young lady in a black top) decides to whisper to a hostess/manager(a woman in a pink shirt) «they said they made a reservation but I don’t see it so I think they should wait and it’s about 45 minutes.» The sad part is she’s trying to whisper right in front of me! The manager disagrees and gets us seated in less than 2 minutes. 5 stars for that manager, 0 for that hostess. Now on to the food. We are seated and our waiter Mason greets us immediately and talks the place up. I give 5 stars to Mason because he was cordial, professional and made sure we were taken care of during our visit. He even gave our son balloons to take home. Now really on to the food. The brunch menu features a lot of variety. Biscuits, toast, sausage, bacon, french toast, waffles, ham, roast beef, omelets made to order, fried chicken, fried catfish, eggs Benedict, and a dessert bar. The food was really good. My wife said the steamed shrimp was a little over cooked though. The breakfast items were good, even if I did have to wait 30 minutes for bacon! All in all it’s a good place to go to.

I would say 75% of the things I have ordered here have been absolutely delicious. I have been here many times and I think that’s a great track record. The burgers are delicious and though I haven’t tried it my boyfriend raves about the cream of crab soup(says best he’s ever had). All in all a fun casual place to sit in the bar are and grab a bite on a Saturday night. Also the brunch buffet is amazing for special occasions!

The deck was spectacular overlooking the setting sun and the marina. The staff friendly and Very helpful and helpful. And the burger perfectly cooked one of the best I have had in a while. Definitely a place I would recommend for a water side meal.

I was here Saturday and wasn’t impressed by the food. My husband and I got the crab soup and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and the $ 30+ steak and crab cake as out entrée. My mozzarella sticks were awesome but hubby thought the crab soup was wayyy to rich. Out entrees were awful!!! The steaks were burnt on the outside and, although, they were medium well they were dry. They weren’t seasoned and I had to ask for A1 sauce!!! The crab cake was good but I expected it and the steak to be bigger especially for $ 30. We usually go to Blue Dolphin(Crofton, MD) or Harris(across the ways from Annie’s) but we were enjoying a bday party this time. And trust me I can order the same thing at blue dolphin and have enough to take home leftovers. We tried it and DEFINITELY will not be back!

What a disappointing night. We came for my husband’s birthday dinner as we have for at least 5 years and won’t be back again. We arrived on time for our 6:30 reservation and waited 10 minutes for our table. We were seated and discovered that even though we had made an early reservation, they were out of the lobster special. I’ve never seen a «fine dining» establishment run out of the special so early in the night. Especially considering they were offering the same special other days that week. We were seated at a table next to a window that overlooked the waterfront dining area. My chair wobbled and every time a server or diner passed, the floor moved, which jiggled the table and our chairs. Our water glasses had ripples and waves like in Jurassic Park! I felt seasick by the end of the night. My salad arrived with no dressing. The server said she’d go get it, then cleared plates at another table, took orders from yet another table, and then stood at the computer punching orders in. Then she went to the bar and waited for a drink order. It took over 10 minutes to get my dressing. At one point during our evening, my husband waited 20 minutes for a soda refill. He had to ask repeatedly for it. My husband ordered the prime rib and asked for it to be seasoned and seared. He has had this every year at Annie’s for his birthday for the last several years with no issues. When he requested this, the server nodded. When it was delivered by another server, it was not seasoned or seared. When we finally caught our server passing(she was hard to catch all night) she said that it was… on the outside, like they’re normally prepared. She clearly hadn’t understood. She shrugged and walked away without any attempt to fix it. My chicken picata was OK, nothing amazing for the price. I ordered dessert(dumb at this point, I know) and got a very heavy crème brûlée. It was flavorless and dense. When my mother-in-law spoke to the manager about all the issues we had, she got a very insincere«sorry» and a brush-off. We won’t be coming back. The only reason to give this any stars at all is because the Christmas decorations were very nice.

This place is great. Huge menu and everything on it seems like a winner, from the few things I’ve had, to the ones I have seen go by. As others have said, on one side is a great sports bar(that is fine to eat at) and on the other side is a formal dining area. Both share the same menu so you can choose where you want to eat. It really does seem like the attention to detail on your food is top priority. I intend to come back here another time for steaks, oysters and other seafood, but I was first sent here for the burgers and I’ve now had them 3 times. If you are driving past the Kent narrows and want the best burger around stop here. Fantastic beef, great roll, good sides and lots of options to order it how you like it. I also noticed that they seem to have an oyster menu with 7 or so different varieties, which is a nice plus if you want to compare a Chincoteage, to a Blue Point, to a Bay, to a… Last time I was there I got the Onion Soup, which was very good, and a side of asparagus, which were very soggy. Good beer on draft, great burgers, and a menu that you want to come back and tear through over time. Check it out!
