Visited this location to return some pants with a malfunction. I called in advance to find out where I should park considering the store is located at grapevine. The associate that answered was very helpful. I also had no issues returning my pants or getting assistance with my y other items purchased. I will definitely be returning.

Maybe I came into the store on the wrong day but I did not feel welcomed at all. I LOVE Torrid’s clothing and the brand. I swear by the comfort of their jeans. When I heard they placed a store in Grapevine Mills, I was ecstatic that I would now have one nearby. My favorite Torrid store is the one in Fort Worth’s Hulen Mall. I’ve always been greeted by everyone there, they are friendly, and excited to help you find clothes and outfits tailored to your specific taste. So my expectations were set high. When I came into the Grapevine location, I noticed 2 employees by the register, just chatting. They saw me come in but did not say anything to me. I was looking for a specific item that I saw online and was unable to find it. Surely, I assumed, they’d ask if they could help me find anything. But after 10 mins of them failing to acknowledge me, I finally asked them if they had that item. They did answer my question, but that was it. So I looked around some more, still they did not speak to me or offer help. Found some pants to try on. Then they asked if I was ready to check out. No, I wanted to try them on first. I immediately felt unwanted there. The only upside to this store was the dressing rooms. They were spacious, clean and had fans. Which is nice because trying on clothes isn’t exactly the easiest feat for curvy girls alike. If it wasn’t for the fact that I need some nice pants for a job interview the next day, I wouldn’t have wasted another minute here. Hopefully this is addressed soon. Meantime, I’ll continue my drive to Hulen.

I’ve been shopping at Torrid since 2009 and I must say I am so happy that they are expanding their brick & mortar presence in Texas! This one is located in Neighborhood 1 in Grapevine Mills Mall — park and enter near Ross and it’s right down the way. This store is great: it caters to curvy, fashion forward women — young and mature. I say mature because I don’t think older women would shop in the store although they have great items for work/play which I love, but the style/trendiness of the clothing might scare off more traditional fashion types. Torrid offers everything from the grunge look to a classy, elegant night on the town — which is why I love shopping here. I can go in looking for a casual look or something for work and I’ll be able to find exactly what I’m looking for without a doubt. They carry a variety of items from t-shirts, dresses, jeans, leggings, accessories, intimates, shoes — EVERYTHING! The prices range from«oh that’s reasonable» to «ain’t nobody got time for that,» but if you take advantage of their sales, you could easily walk away with $ 350 worth of clothing/accessories for under $ 100. Trust me, I’ve done it plenty of times! Especially online! Their online sales are bananas and sometimes they run the same online sale in the store as well, which I like because even though I know my size well with this store, sometimes things fit differently that I expect them to and it’s always a plus to be able to try something on first before you purchase it! I highly recommend Torrid as a self proclaimed Fashonista, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with what they have to offer! If you’re a size 12 and up, this is the store for you!
