I had a stroke in 2006 at 50 which left me permanently impaired. This was quite a setback since I was very athletic in my former life. I made my way from a wheelchair to a walker to a quad cane. Quad canes are a pretty clunky and unattractive affair. I dislike them so much I wind up «accidentally» running them over with my car! After one such incident I went on line to find a new cane when I came across the FlexStick. It had everything! A well padded grip, a tripod base for stability and an attached flashlight. (Those with balance issues know that it’s harder to stay balanced while walking at night!) the flashlight feature is invaluable. I will never use another cane! I can’t tell you how many people stop me to tell me what a great cane this is and how attractive! The handle comes in different patterns and many colors. To date I have three different colors and will probably get more. It’s no fun to need a cane but the FlexStick is not only a helpful device but an attractive one as well. I can’t say enough great things about it!
