Came here twice and really loved this bar. Large selection of beers, my salad was crisp and fresh, the meatloaf was melt in your mouth incredible. The only thing that topped the food was the service. Our bartender went above and beyond and didn’t only answer my menu related questions and made excellent recommendation of draft beer, but he also endured my endless questions about the area, local hot spots and towns to live in. Back to the food. It has to be the best meatloaf I’ve ever had. EVER. I highly recommend this amazing and huge sports bar with big screen tvs throughout. You can also reserve reclining comfy chairs for when you come in with friends. They have separate party areas in the back. What else can you ask for. Ps: don’t ever loose your current chef!

I later noticed on my bill I was DOUBLE charged for a Salmon bowl on the first night. Second night I ordered three scotch drinks neat and charged $ 3 per drink to have it neat which is with no ice What a rip off. Lourdes was the waitress-CHECK your bill. Very sneaky!!!

The only place open in Gaylord for lunch… My dad and I went here because we wanted to see the inside of the hotel. Turns out the food is purely mediocre and the service is slow. No sweet tea either. The beer glasses are clunky and chilled. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this place

Im giving Texan station 2 stars because the quality of the food has deteriorated substantially. The best thing about texan station is the 52ft hd projector screen. Best place to watch any gaming events. Ive made it a tradition to come to every super bowl for the last 7 years. However over that time the food has gotten worse and worse. One thing to pay attention to is that 6 or more people the servers will add 20 percent. I tip 20 percent which I dont have a problem with but what I do have a problem with is that they do not tell you and they secretly hope you dont pay attention to your bill so you can give them more of a tip.

This was my second choice when we were visiting Gaylord Texan on Christmas Eve. First choice being, the Riverwalk Cantina. Well, another story. So, we were being seated in quite rush rush manner even though there was no rush at this restaurant. The ambiance is pretty much like any sports bar — grill. Big screens and games projected on the screens. The food is no good — tomato basil soup was almost like cheddar soup with too much of cheese and no tomato or basil. The hummus has no taste, just too blah. And no pita either. The drinks were pricey. And, the server had attitude. We waited for 20 mins to be served — the order was fries and humus. When we asked, she nonchalantly responded saying she was not sure about it. She will check and went attending other folks for another 10 mins. Still no food. Not going here again.

Excellent service. We had BESHOY as our waiter twice at our 7 day stay at the Gaylord Resort and both times he was excellent. He should be complimented for his attentiveness and great service. Thank you

I was pleasantly surprised by Texas Station. In my experience, sports bars aren’t know for their foods. I’m usually disappointed at the microwaved quality of sports bar foods but this place was pretty good. Everything tasted like it was decently fresh. The portions were decent too although not a great value. We got the Turkey Joe($ 12) and Pulled Pork Sandwich($ 13), which is overpriced but it is inside a hotel/convention center so these prices are on par with similar places. The Greek salad($ 17) was severely overpriced as was the Quinoa Salad($ 16), but again it’s inside a hotel/convention center. Furthermore, the fries were crispy, which is important to me. They have a crazy huge screen in the middle(likely 20 feet tall) and multiple TVs throughout playing live and past games. The service was friendly and fast, especially for being that packed(it was Christmas Eve). The place kept well also. They take your cell # and when your table is ready they give you a text so you don’t have to worry about being«out of range» of the pager. Plus, the restaurants saves money on pagers. If you want to eat inside Gaylord, this is a good option.

Came here to the Gaylord with a group of others for a tour of the hotel and to go to ICE. Stopped here for a bite before we leave, boy do I regret this! The waitress obviously couldn’t keep up with a party of 16, mixed up our drink orders, asked later if some of us wanted a refill, then never brought any, luckily most of us ordered the same meal, or she might’ve mixed that up too! Don’t recommend coming to this place during your stay!

Just came here for a drink and some football action. This place certainly does not disappoint! House specialty mixed drinks are $ 9 – 10, and a good selection of local beers on tap. I had a 7.0% Revolver Blood and Honey for $ 7.50. The food is standard American sports bar grub. Uninspired but nothing bad. Typical hotel pricing. If you’re staying at the Gaylord, definitely a great choice to catch a game though. As others mentioned, where the hell do you get a screen that big?!

Completely average«hotel sports bar/grill». I ended up here because on Sundays, the other restaurant that’s open only offers a buffet for like $ 25/pp — ummm… no thanks. Anyway, if you happen to be here during game time this is a great place to watch whatever sports ball team you’re rooting for. There are absolutely giant TV screens at the front of the space and other TV’s every few feet. I did not care about that, I just wanted lunch. First, it seems like the hostesses at the Gaylord are from a different planet from all the other employees because they are plain RUDE(experienced at 2 different restaurants). Because I was a single female, they sat me way in a corner — fine, whatever. My server on the other hand was as nice as could be — attentive, friendly and great at her job. She even offered me a to-go on my soda which was really kind. My burger was a burger — nothing great, nothing terrible. Prices are high because let’s face it, you’re probably a captive conference attendee with no car and you have to eat something, right? The menu is fairly small — maybe 6 – 8 choices plus the same for apps. Drink prices are high, though they offer a «happy hour» from 3 – 5 every day with $ 4(!) domestic beers. That price doesn’t make me especially happy.

We waited 40 minutes for our table after being told it would only be a 20 minute wait. Once seated we waited to put in our drink orders. Very very small menu. They add 20% gratuity to every check no matter the size of your party. Out of 7 meals at the table, 5 came out cold. We had to ask for refills twice. I would go somewhere else.

Just like all my Unilocaler friends, the place was a little hard to locate, but was well worth the visit. TheGaylord Texan Resort and convention center. I had to stay in this beautiful city of Grapevine as I was traveling back to work after a nice vacation with my family. So I decided to dine-in and start off with few of my favorite starters at any typical BBQ Joint would have on their menu: I got me the big boy platter, being called Biggie as my old high school name, was created based on factors«big boy» I also got me a nice ice beer, Oh and I also had to get me an order of their Fried pickle spears. Wow, honestly both were just so damn good, it was like day dreaming of the perfect bite. The services were excellent but its no surprise, as this place is located inside a beautiful resort which I will be staying at the next time I need to stay here. For my main course, i got me a nice pulled pork sammie with a nice fresh and crisp coleslaw, Oh yea it also comes with fries too. Two means more in my world. The pork, bun, and amount of sauces coding were just spot on. Not too messy, nor its over coded as most BBQ places do! I also get extra Sauce on the side(just to be safe)(: hot/sweet Comb style. Overall, the place is fantastic, I just wish the family were here too, to give it a try. Maybe next time. Glad I got to search and Unilocal this place to dine-in at, and yes it was well worth the 5K calories intake I consumed.

Honestly was not expecting much given past reviews and location. However! I was pleasantly surprised. Had the pulled pork sammie with fries. Bun was fresh, pork was tender and not over dressed. Extra sauce on side was the right sweet/hot combo. Fries are outstanding. I would come back.

Typical bar and grill kind of food. This is the most reasonably priced place to eat at the Gaylord Texan. We at here several times. The staff was great and accommodating. They have good chips if you don’t like fries. Salads are good also, had the Spicy Buffalo Chicken salad — only criticism is that there is too much blue cheese. I suggest putting on side. The people I ate with love the wings, chicken club(warning: is more like a burger), angus burger, and we shared several of the appetizers. Two appetizers shared between 2 people was a good amount of food.

What a crazy awesome sports bar! We came here after a conference that was at the Embassy Suites near by. When our driver entered Gaylord’s, we had no idea that we were entering some kind of resort. After some driving around, we finally located our destination, and followed the yellow brick road in Gaylords to get there. Our group was interested in watching the Rockets game, this was a good place to watch considering it had the biggest TV’s I have ever seen. This place has some great local brews. I opted for the brown ale. I forget the name, but the color and flavor were on point. We enjoyed that the volume was loud enough for the game to be engaging but low enough that we could still converse with our new friends from the conference. Our server was wonderfully attentive. He came by to check on us regularly. The place was packed. Random appetizers kept getting ordered. The nachos here are outstanding. The calamari is pretty decent, as are the wings. I highly recommend Texan Station if you are in the area.

This is an OK sports bar. The waitress was attentive, service was fast, and the nachos were delicious. The main course of cheeseburgers were just«meh» though. There are TVs all over playing different sports games. Since this is my 1st visit to Texas, seeing waitstaff in Cowboys jerseys made me smile.(I’m all for home team pride. I just happen to have my home in Patriots territory.) It’s convienently in the atrium of the Gaylord Texan resort, so hotel guests make up most of the patrons.

The other night my friend and I came here for some dinner– the wait was about an hour long so we opted to sit in the nice recliner chairs right in front of the big screen TV’s. Just so you know it’s a $ 50 minimum each person to sit there– they let you know this about 8 times too lol. We got some beer. And a few appetizers. Their famous queso and chips were great. They had too many chips and not enough of the dip. We also got the chicken tenders and the famous chicken wings. The wings were good and not too spicy! For dessert we had the snickers pie. It was ehhh ok– I really only are the snickers pieces off it. Lol
