Great service. The entire staff was warm, hospitable, and helpful from the moment we walked in the door until they bid us farewell. Food was fresh and delicious. We’ll be back.

Spring Creek is one of the better local chains in the DFW area. They offer a generous selection of meets from Ribs, Brisket, Sausage and chicken. For those who are vegetarian don’t worry they have options for you also. They offer a fully loaded baked potato, beans, coleslaw, potato salad, corn and other items on the bar. I highly recommend the coblers. If you’re not wanting cobler they offer a variety of pies to choose from.

I go here for the hot fresh rolls and peach cobbler with ice cream. The bbq ribs are decent but the sausage is sweet. Be sure to use the bogo coupon for a sweer deal! That saves ya $ 13

Food is actually pretty good at this Spring Creek. Ribs are the best. Stay away from the Turkey. way over cooked and dry. Too bad the service is horrible. The thing that Spring Creek is known for are their fresh hot rolls. Too bad I didn’t get any, except for the cold one they give with your meal, because they never came around during the entire time(45 mins) I was there. All the employees were talking to each other and no one bothers to work the rolls. Never greeted when we came. Was not greeted when we left. Too bad.

Typical chain bbq with chain quality. I might try it again just to see if I’m wrong because some seem to love this place! I thought the brisket was a little dry.

I’m not normally a fan of chain places. BUT. Spring Creek keeps coming through and consistent with quality BBQ. Haven’t been here in years but again today it’s very good. Ribs are tender and flavorful. Brisket is tender, green beans are good and baked beans are always a hit. I will take off on the star rating due to the men’s room is badly in need of maintaining. The sink faucets are loose in the sink. The entire bathroom needs to be upgraded.

Went here on a Monday night, the place was dead. I try to go to spring creek every time I come to the dfw area but this was the first time in grapevine. I soon found out why they were so dead! The staff was very rude. It seemed like everything was a bother to them. They stood around in a little huddle and questioned me when I attempted to refill my own glass of tea! I will never return to this location! Horrible experience, unlike the other spring creeks!

After arriving at Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport we told our hotel shuttle driver, Keith, from Homewood Suites that we were hungry for something really good, yet fast. He drove us to Spring Creek Barbecue in Grapevine, Texas and it was the perfect choice. Guests order ribs, links, chicken, brisket, etc. at a counter, then fill their plates buffet style with as many sides as the plate can hold. Price for a full dinner is around $ 14.00. Sides include coleslaw, potato salad, okra, corn, mac and cheese, salad plus pickles, onions, peppers, and other fixings. The order of ribs was big enough for 2 of us to split. Boy were they juicy and delicious with the flavor of real Texas barbecue. The staff shouts out extras like fresh bread. We didn’t have dessert but the offerings of fresh pie, pudding, ice cream, and cobbler looked great. Wish we had something this delicious and fast for slow cooked wood smoked ribs in Northern California. Great job by the teen employees, too.

Decent BBQ chain with decent food and Texas-style ambiance. Country music tops the southern flare. Simple, efficient menu with occasional promotional items like pulled pork. Known for their fresh baked bread rolls that a server carries around to tables while you’re dining. Blue Bell ice cream stand($ 4 for an ice cream cobbler, $ 2 for a dish of just ice cream). Overall, food is average to good. The high fat proteins(sausage, ribs) obviously taste very good(although I’ve had much better ribs elsewhere in Texas). The chicken is hit or miss. The bread is decent, but only when it’s warm and eaten with butter. The serve-yourself sides has a cheap cafeteria feel to it, but there are some positive things to go for like the deep-friend okra. I seem to come here only when my out-of-town in laws visit. 2.5 stars. I can’t really recommend this place to others, but I also can’t tell you to stay away from it, because the food isn’t bad. It just isn’t «good» enough to speak of. Note: I had a really bad stomach ache after eating here today. I suspect it’s from the old/dried chicken I decided to eat. :(

Went there for a late lunch with a friend visiting DFW, we both loved the food and the casual atmosphere. I had the rib dinner and he had the beef brisket. My ribs were tender and the sauce was awesome. To say Mark enjoyed his food is an understatement. His plate was clean! Also the warm rolls were to incredible too. I will be going back to Spring Creek very soon. My fraternity will be having an alumni event at one of the other locations soon and I am looking forward to that.

I am from NYC and I happen to really love the bbq here. I got the ribs dinner special and a few different slides: corn, mac n cheese, beans, cole slaw, potato salad. OMG. I loved everything. They also have oven baked fresh bread. I mean it was hot when it landed on my plate. I love it! I wish I can take you to NYC with me. Plus, it was $ 15 for dinner! with a root beer nonetheless. Clearly, I get this meal for more like $ 25 in nyc so I’m happy that it’s a saving and that I get to enjoy such a scrumptous meal! Thanks Texas!

Medium smoky ribs that were able to be served dry were a little over-rendered but not too bad. The only other item I had were simple canned Texas green beans and some wonderful yeast rolls. The cafeteria style service is a little confusing here… the entrance does not route you to the line… so you can walk straight in and look around for service wondering WTF!

I always know what to expect when I go to this location of Spring Creek BBQ, delicious BBQ of all types. The turkey, ham, sausage(2 types), ribs and brisket never disappoint. The sauce is a sweet smokey flavor that is mmmmm yummy. You can’t go wrong with the unlimited sides either. Their Mac n cheese is probably the best around. And I do know that you can get by with one type of cheese and still have a rocking Mac & Cheese. My other favorite other side is the baked pinto beans as well as the string/green beans with bacon. They always hit the spot. Last but not least are the freshly baked rolls made on the premises. You get one when you order your plate. You can also get another when they walk around giving out hot fresh buns that are hot to the touch. My only complaint is that prices have gone up so I’ll settle with a one meat plate and drink for $ 13 ish. I know it’s a franchise but they sure do taste good.

BBQ is my favorite dish. I had a choice this day: Go into Coppell and hit Hard 8, go into Flower Mound and hit Red, Hot, & Blue, or go down the street and try Spring Creek. I took the lazy way out and paid the price. Probably some of the worst BBQ I have ever tasted(and I used to live in the Northeast). From the runny«baked beans», to the crusty roll, and the weird watery substance underneath my sliced beef. Just a bad, overpriced experience. The best part of the meal was the potato salad. Tasty. But if you are a BBQ place do you want your customers to think the only thing worth the price was the potato salad? My advice: if you are looking for GREATBBQ locate Hard 8 in Coppell or Red, Hot, and Blue in Flower Mound. Both are about 15 minutes away from this place. Would have to guess that Spring Creek survives off of the airport traffic.
