We visited with Wayne, the owner, earlier in the day as we were walking down Main Street. He asked us to come back for dinner later that evening. We took him up on his offer and returned around 7. Rod, our waiter was a little in the weeds as he was the ONLY waiter and the place was packed, standing room only. Wayne and the bartender were both helping as best they could but the place was busy. It took a while for our drinks, appetizers and dinner but let me assure you that it was worth the wait!!! the food was amazing!!! Aly & Brad, the chefs, were absolutely on their game. everything we had was an amazing explosion of flavor. cant wait to go back!

Went here for lunch during the week with co-workers. I have been before and could not remember much but out groupon wanted wine so I suggested it. There was not many people in the resurant but it took some time for us to be seated. I had the frozen sangria and it was very good. Their house salad is amazing so if you have room I would add it to your dish. I ordered the alfredo and it was ok. Overall the food was good. The only issue was lack of attention from the wait staff. Seems like a local hangout so new comers might not get the same treatment.

The chef is a jerk!!! My sister and I walked in at 11am last Friday soliciting a gift for a gala at my nephews school for autistic children. The chef said«no» and«we don’t help charities» ect a few other rude words… Wouldn’t even taken our paperwork. We were completely humiliated. Note to the owner. Roderick is a superstar! He chased us down the street to apologize. My sister and I were in tears! Thank you Roderick!

Owner WAYNE… was incredibly rude to my elderly uncle and I. My uncle was in a wheelchair and we were sitting outside. I moved my uncle so he could have a view of the street and moved a chair so I could put the wheelchair in. The owner came out and actually scolded me for moving the chair. I told him I was trying to get my uncle settled and he yelled at me saying the chair couldn’t be on the sidewalk. I told him I was going to move chair back but I couldn’t move everything at once! I have brought 4 new customers to him and he treated my uncle and I like trash that day. I HAVENEVERSEENANYONETREAT A PERSONIN A WHEELCHAIRAND A CAREGIVERWITHSUCHRUDENESS.

Ugh. Ruined date night. Waited 17 minutes for a glass of wine. Waited 45 for an app that never arrived. Annoyed. We never get out and the waiters response was«we don’t know what happened to ure food. We will comp ure wine.» So angry.

How many restaurants do you know… that the ownership gives the upcoming young chef(and a pastry chef!) the latitude to offer DAILY additions of inventive new dishes — that will not only surprise you, but you won’t want to miss. That’s what keeps me coming back. Get there early — especially on local acoustical music nights — as its a cozy intimate space.

We went here solely based upon the Unilocal reviews and were not disappointed. The good: THEWINECHOICES! I tasted a few things by my picking and nothing was making me go wow until our waiter offered a taste of something he thought would make my eyes pop… and it did. I should have just asked for his recommendation from the get-go. Their bottles ranged from $ 40 to $ 300 with some surprising names being offered. The food was even better. We had several of the tapas plates and while ALL of them were very good we loved the Duck Confit so much we ordered 2 more plates of that. There was a live musician playing everything from Michael Jackson to Cindy Lauper. The bad… well«bad» is such a strong word. How about I use«inconvenience» instead. The inconvenience is that it’s such a small place they couldn’t seat my entire group as folks started arriving throughout the evening. There just wasn’t the space. My group was split up hitting the shops up and down main street so the folks at our table were cycling through depending on who was done shopping and who was heading out to shop. If I ever make it back to downtown Grapevine I’ll definitely be stopping by here.

The wine was fantastic! Went with a friend, and we both tried each other’s wines, and liked all of them, four total. Their menu had simple tasting notes on each of the available wines as well, and most were available as a taste, a glass, or a bottle. Prices were also very reasonable. I was slightly incredulous when I was told I couldn’t have a flight, I instead would have to have my tasters one at a time because they«didn’t have enough glasses.» I didn’t make a fuss, but it seemed to me that the bartender just didn’t want to deal with it. I don’t see how as popular a location as this could run out of glasses when the place was only 1⁄3 full. We decided to move on instead of staying for more. We also had the filet crostini which came out dry and lukewarm, as if it had been sitting on the line for too long. A shame since the scallop caprese special was DIVINE. I’ll give it another shot, as it’s possible these factors were influenced by the fact that we went on Labor day.

SICK&RUDE excited to try but sadly disappointed. There are many places on main that I’d rather spend my money. First, this place barely is a tapas bar. Second, the wait staff is rude. Our bar tender was ill running a fever(saw girl take his temp). He still serving us and folding silverware, limiting our space at the bar. I inquired about their tastings and how things work there but was rejected and under informed. Their selection was limited.

Let’s just say, it was my first time there and I’ll definitely be back! I was there to celebrate my bday and had arrived before my friends. The bartender immediately struck up conversation with me and told me a little bit about the restaurant and the menu, which offers real meals(not just the small plates/appetizers). The wine list is categorized by adjectives and there are quite a few, so however you are feeling on a particular day, you will have plenty of wine to choose from :-) However, if you are not sure what you are in the mood for, the servers/bartenders have a talent for choosing something you’ll enjoy. For food, everything looked delicious! I had the marinated cucumbers and a side of the truffle mac and cheese. Both were good. The mac and cheese was very rich and filling, couldn’t even finish it all. One of my friends had the French Dip I believe and she finished every last bite! The décor is super cute. Love the stools, local artwork, and overall ambiance. There is also some outdoor seating, which is always good for some Grapevine people watching. This is a great place for a date, catching up with some friends, or a small group. By 7:30/8pm, on a Wednesday, it was full, so I would suggest getting there early. Also, even thought it is thought of to most as a wine bar, they don’t have tastings or flights of wine, but will give you a taste of something you are interested in actually drinking. If you are in Grapevine, this place is a MUST!

Um love this place! The owner & bartenders are super fun, the wine is wonderful, the menu is hilarious, and the venue has this cozy chic thing going on. If I could make one recommendation, it would be to deepen everyone’s V-neck tees. Obvi.

When they are open — food is pretty good! But DAMN either sell out or hire a manager. Went there for lunch and they couldn’t open because the owner didn’t go to the store. A bottle of wine you can get for $ 10 at the store is 40+ at the restaurant! So your really paying for the ambience!

Wow so good I ate here two nights in a row! food good and interesting limited menu they do what they do very well. Blake served me both nights. Awesome food suggestions and wine pairings. Like the laid back atmosphere. I was the only nonregular it seemed. I’d highly recommend this as a stop. Its small but I had no problem getting a spot at prime time and never felt rushed.

We’ve visited this restaurant several times and have always had excellent food and drinks. From starters to desserts, our servers have guided us to great food and wine matches. One of our favorites is the Chicken Brie nachos. The wine selection is always outstanding and if you are unsure, ask your server as they make very good suggestions. If you want to be a little more adventurous, try their wine in tasting flights to meet your own criteria. The only challenge I ever have is finding a table during prime time. They are extremely popular with locals so plan on waiting a long while or arriving a little early to secure seating.

decided to enjoy the beautiful Dallas weather by meeting up some girls for some day drinking. What a better way to enjoy the sun before it started to rain again in Dallas! We decided to meet up at a random spot on Main street, so from the map we chose Into the Glass. we have been wine tasting before, so we are normally familiar with getting 3 tastings for a set price. Into the Glass wasn’t set up like that but no big deal. The waiter was helpful for our selections, I told him what kinds of wines I normally like and that I wanted a nice crisp white wine. So how they have their wine is a 3 ounce is $ 4 aka a tasting, 5 ounce is $ 6 aka a glass. I started off with a tasting but realized it wasn’t much so we moved on to a glass. We also got their antipasto platter which came with bread, salamis, cheese, olives, and pickles. It was good, I wish I had asked the waiter what kind of cheese was on the plate. Overall this place is good, I think a bit pricey for their tastings though, but I wouldn’t mind coming here just to get one or two glasses and then hitting up another place again.

My first«foodie» experience in Dallas was last week at Into the Glass. Three of us went for lunch. I ordered us the goat cheese spread with tomato and garlic on baguettes. AH-MAZE-ING way to kill hunger before a meal! They do not do flights of wine, which was disappointing(I got spoiled in Portland where everything is flight-worthy) and choosing a glass of wine was difficult b/c everything was pretty pricey. Since it was lunch on a weekday it was fairly slow as there was only one other table seated. I always find that service can be worse during those times b/c they are worrying about doing other aspects of their job. That being said, overall our service was just A-OK. Nothing too exceptional and nothing too awful. Consistent and food came out timely. I ordered and split the duck tacos which were SOOOO good. Done very well, not too heavy and with a lot of layers of flavor. I would recommend those! I think the price is a bit on the high side for what they consider tapas. Our apps were overpriced for the amount of food and the lunch portion was smaller than expected for $ 16(I think that’s the price without looking it up). The wine for a glass averaged $ 12. I know it’s a wine bar but would like to be able to have the option for something a little more reasonable for a 4 ounce pour. All that being said, if I didn’t have a rule of never eating somewhere twice in a new city, I might have gone back just for the goat cheese spread.

Into the Glass is a very very small restaurant on main st in Grapevine. It is hard to find unless you know where it is. The bar takes up almost the whole place and there is a lot of locals that frequent. They usually have a solo act that plays for a few hours on the weekends. The food is ok here and the drinks are ok as well. They do not have any light beer but do have a nice selection of craft beers. Service is a little slow unless you are sitting at the bar. Prices are above normal here.

«I wonder if I’ve been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I’m not the same, the next question is Who in the world am I?» said Alice. I said it, too, after lunching on the ‘Duck Confit Napoléon’, a plate of magic set before me by a happy, grinning Cheshire Cat. This dish of decadence contained tender shredded marinated duck, stacked between layers of luscious sweet potato cakes, drizzled with a delicious blackberry gastrique and fresh juicy blackberries. The Cheshire Cat winked and said, «We’re all mad here!» And I was hooked.
