Meh. I came here looking for a deal and didn’t really find any. The clearance section at the regular stores are better. They didn’t really know how to utilize my Wrapp coupon and ended up wasting my coupon by clicking«Used» on my phone app.

I frankly couldn’t care less about this place but thanks go my wife I’ve had the opportunity to see it more often than I care for. It’s a nice store with some good classy outfits at reasonable prices. They have sales very often and keep checking their website for coupons. My measure of a womens clothing store is based on how quickly the mrs goes back to return stuff. At the kohls, her royal highness usually decides to return stuff even as the cashier is scanning the bar code. I have rarely seen her return anything to the Ann taylor stores. I don’t know if that’s a good thing. Depends on if You’re talking to my wallet or my leg.

After 30+ years, I’ve accepted being short and petite and getting to know the local tailor to have clothes that fit(where the alternative is dressing like a high school student). Thank God there are a few stores like Ann Taylor Loft that recognize a market for age-appropriate clothing, scaled down to smaller frames. They periodically have greatly reduced sales and additional online coupons. Recently, I bought two jackets, a dress, a blouse, and two pairs of pants for a little more than the cost of dinner out and drinks with my husband. You would think that the clothes are cheaply made, but being an amateur tailor/dressmaker, I recognize that they use mostly natural-fiber or blended fabrics, line almost all of their jackets and coats, and add special details like piped lining and trims.
