Orchard House

My little Layla and I stayed here during our life-​changing journey from New Orleans, LA to Ohio. It was peaceful and beautiful. Layla loved meeting the really really big big big dog (horse). haha Dean and Jodi were wonderful. We were extra lucky to meet «Mom» who was delightful. We took several pictures, which I’ve shared as well. I would highly recommend this lovely B&B to anyone!

We stayed at the Orchard House in mid-​March (which is not Ohio’s most glorious time of the year); however, our stay at Orchard House was so lovely that the freezing weather didn’t matter. We stayed booked the Walden Room and the Barbizon Room. Both were very comfortable. The sheets, pillows, and bedding are top notch, and the bathrooms are well-​lit, clean, and very pretty without being overdone. Downstairs, the farm house is filled with a mix of old and new furniture and knick-​knacks as well as comfy TV and reading areas in different rooms so people have plenty of space. The breakfast was spectacular, and they accomodate varying diets. I had a vegetarian breakfast and it was delish but other people had the bacon and told me it was excellent too. :)
The farm animals are very friendly and clearly social. I recommend you spend some time outside with them, because it is a phenomenal experience. Additionally, there are bunnies, chickens, pheasants, and two dogs.
Don and Andrew were very attentive and friendly despite the stress of being new parents.(They had a four month old baby that required lots of attention too.)
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we left feeling relaxed, pampered, and well-​fed.

My fiancé and I had the BEST time at The Orchard House. The house was spotless, the baked goodies were delicious and wine and cheese hour was so much fun with Don and the other guests. We enjoyed seeing all of the animals even if it was a little chilly during our stay. We loved our room, the Walden Room, and breakfast was sooo good. We’re still talking about the bacon they served! We will definitely be back!

Orchard House was above and beyond our expectations, and so relaxing. Breakfast was phenomenal, the animals were great to watch (and we helped feed them, but that wasn’t mandatory!). Andrew and Don were incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed Granville’s July 4^th festival. We will definitely be returning for another getaway.

Beautiful rooms, friendly owners, delicious breakfast and snacks, cute farm animals, free wireless, easy drive into Columbus. A perfect place to stay in Granville!
