I gave it a two stars simply co the gals were nice and polite. The coffee was so plain, I have to say, the mocha didn’t taste like Mocha. I like the expresso chocolate that came with the drink though. Othwwise, u can pass!

Great coffee and friendly staff! The perfect way to start a morning! I loved the little chocolate covered espresso bean that was placed on my order!

Our favorite coffee place in town! Especially on $ 2 Tuesdays! Baristas are always so friendly and helpful. Try the carmel hazelnut mocha, so so good! They do many special offers so check them out on facebook too.

I love trying new coffee spots when on vacation. Human Bean was across the street from our hotel so we tried it our first morning in Grants Pass. I got a iced white mocha. It was pretty good. Similar to Dutch Bros. The girl at the window was friendly and fast. My coffee was out in no time. They give you a chocolate covered espresso bean on top of your cup. That was a nice touch. I’d def come back again.

Are you seeking great coffee along with great customer service? If so, then this is the place to go! I am extremely picky when it comes to my coffee and let’s say that I was more than satisfied during my visit today at Human Bean. I had never been before, I told the lady at the window what I liked and she gave me her suggestion. I was sold on the«Sugar Mama» and taste was just right. I will definitely be returning before I leave Grants Pass and visiting their Portland location.

What a pleasant surprise! Driving back from Seattle to San Francisco, this was the perfect little pit stop. A few others broke away to McD’s while 2 of us walked over to get a pick me up for the road. The 2 girls working were so friendly and inviting — very refreshing after having been on the road for 6 hours! We also stumbled upon them on a Tuesday which gets you any drink up to 16oz for only $ 2! I tried the Mate Lattè which was delicious and my friend tried the Mexi-Mocha which she absolutely loved! HIGHLY recommend!!! And will return if we are driving through again ;)

I drive across town to go to this store. Not only does it have the best staff of the 3GP locations, it also has the most consistent coffee. Carmel hazelnut drinkers ftw.

Great service, cruddy coffee. Got literally the easiest drinks and it was so watery we questioned if there was coffee in our drinks at all. Cute store name though… But more should be expected from a coffee place in Oregon.

So disappointing! Back when I lived in GP and Human Bean opened shop I was very impressed. I said goodbye to Dutch Bros forever in favor of the Bean. At the time owner Terry ran a great crew and great shop. Over the years I heard she left and the coffee and service started declining. A month before I moved to PDX I noticed the coffee drinks started tasting watered down. December 27, 2014 my husband and I drove back thru GP on our way home to Portland. Jonesing for caffeine, we pulled into Human Bean. We got our usual, 16oz breve and a 16oz vanilla latte. As we hit I5 and both took a sip and almost spit it out. My breve tasted like coffee flavored water, hubby’s tasted like vanilla coffee flavored water. Absolutely horrible. We were exhausted from our long drive and didn’t have it in us to take the Merlin exit and head back into town. So sad that Human Bean has deteriorated. I will not be back. I’d just as soon gag down a McCafe from McDonalds.

Still, it doesn’t get any better. I love my small town baristas that are always there with a smile on their face and a quick, uplifting conversation. It makes it a million times better to have my drink waiting for me when I pull up to the window. Stephanie, Paige and Mason, you guys are the best!

Because you don’t want to go to the same old same old Starbucks when your on vacation. And you want really good coffee with quick service and intelligence behind that cup. So okay… you have to drive a little more thru town, down the road from the five to get to the human bean, but you know your coffee deserves the extra effort. You know you don’t want to lower your morals and go to Dutch Bros… lol, that’s mean but just sayin. You know what I mean. Shoot me now. The girls are very sweet and know their stuff here. Made with love drinks for sure. I order my Mexican mochas when I go here because they are OHSO good!!! I’m not sure how or why but just try it… seriously… Just all in all a great drive thru experience. I need to go to Human Bean more often where I live… I always forget how good it is!!! :D

For drive thru coffee, this is great. I am from Seattle and although this is not my idea of heart breakingly delicious espresso, it is my go to in GP. They have good hours. They make decent americanos, which puts their espresso to the test and passes, every time. Their mochas are not insanely sweet, just the right touch of chocolate, and if you do actually need something sugary and insulin-shot worthy, they have many options on their menu. For me, it is better than Dutch Brothers OR Starbucks, even if they are called human bean! Oh, and did I mention every coffee comes with a chocolate covered espresso bean? yyyeessss.

So, my friends and I think the word Bean is probably the funniest word in the world. So after laughing at the pun, we decided to stop in and get some coffee and pastries before we made the long drive up to Portland. It was EXCELLENT! I had never heard of a Mexi Mocha before, so I had one and it was perfect! The espresso was not bitter and it blended well with the spice in the Mexican chocolate. That and the adorable little chocolate covered espresso bean that came with each of our drinks held me over all the way to Portland! Very sad we don’t have any of these in Los Angeles. We can live in hope! Until next time Human Bean!

I love Human Bean! Fair trade coffee in a drive thru? Yes. Thanks. And I get a free chocolate covered bean? Great, that’s awesome. Try the Human Bean Supreme, which I believe they now call the vanilla mocha. I get it hand blended nonfat, but you can get it hot as well. Stay away from the Mexican mocha unless you like cinnamon syrup in your mocha. To me that’s a cinnamon mocha, but I still love you HB :)

No flavor. Girls were nice. Made us a new coffee. Still not much flavor. Dutch bros, jitters bean, Starbucks all better. Maybe just need to use different coffee blend?

The Human Bean! Always a stop for me on my way between Oregon and California. Each time I start driving, I anticipate the wobbly, chocolate-covered espresso bean that arrives, perched atop every cup of the Bean’s coffee. Something about that chocolate bean makes the Bean’s coffee stands feel so cordial. Though the mochas & mixed drinks are a little too syrupy-sweet for my taste, I always look forward to a hot chai latte with honey and almond milk.(Iced dirty chais with soymilk are yummy too.) The espresso could do with more crema, but it’s otherwise deeply smooth and rich. The best way to have it is to sip it up right before you gobble down the candied bean that you carefully set on the dashboard beforehand. I also like the fact that the Human Bean offers 8-oz cups. Overall, the Bean is a great stop on the road, and the service is consistently nice wherever you go. Bottom Line: A good taste of Oregonion sweetness.

I was eating a lovely breakfast at MacDonalds while on a road trip recently and spotted the Human Bean about 500 feet away. How could I get a crappy McCafe when I could get something from the Human Bean? I laughed about the title of this business for a solid five minutes. And even later on in the day. It was so funny that I needed to see if they had serious coffee or not. Service was great and the coffee was as well. Their coffee kept me going through my drive all the way to San Francisco. Thanks Human Bean!

After being disappointed with McDonald’s down the street(which did have clean bathrooms) not having DECAF fancy schmancy drinks we spied the Human Bean down the street. The were very friendly, had my DELICIOUS Mocha drink for me in a couple of minutes and check it out, there on the top of the lid sat an espresso bean covered in dark AND white chocolate. …Decaf? Forget it. The chocolate coated bean is mine.
