Yum! Bakers dozen every time! The donuts are bomb and everyone is really nice. Totally a spot you would catch your grandpa at every morning to get away from gramma. I recommend a near claw or Apple fritter.

Love us some donut holes! …And chocolate Old fashioned, and Maple bars, and of course my kids always beg for the Ginormous glazed donut! The staff is so friendly too, how they find the patience to wait for my kids to decide, its a mystery!!! Love Bills! The only thing that they could improve upon is some stronger coffee, but thats getting picky…

I’m surprised this place has been open for so long. The doughnuts are average, but wayyyy overpriced. $ 1.75 for 1 doughnut is ridiculous, not to mention they charge you .75 cents to use ATM.

These donuts are just average, nothing special. They are out of most varieties and only make them on the weekends if they do carry them. I would definitely say it’s worth the drive to a donut shop that is actually worth going to… this is not the place for a good donut

Today I stopped at Bill’s and was set on getting some donut holes, but my four year old put his nose up to the glass and said I’ll take one of those, one of those, and one of those! I told him no we came for one thing and before I knew it the gal behind the counter said«Happy Valentines Day,» and handed my son a donut with heart sprinkles. Wow it’s those type of things that make me come back again and again. Thank you, Thank you Bill’s Donuts!

This is a local institution. My 8 year old son loves to go Sunday morning. It’s in the same strip mall as Ace and Gold’s. They always have a 50% off coupon in one of the local papers and if you forget it they are pretty forgiving and let you get your buy 2 get 2 free deal. The deal goes up to around 8 plus 8 but that could give you diabetes! The donut viariety is pretty standard but VERY good. the staff are very nice. The coffee is better than average. You go early on the weekend; wear your PJs read one of the several Sac Bees that are free on a table; have a sugar hit; and move on. Yes, lost of folks send in a kid to buy while they«hide» in their car looking pretty funky! It’s one of the few places that also has the News and Review which has interesting in depth reporting on things you didn’t know you were interested in even if you didn’t agree! this is the only two choices; no WSJ or NYT vending etc. Relax it’s a local«hole in the wall» favorite not to be confused with a Starbucks atmosphere. No WIFI. It’s really a great place to see what your Granite Bay neighbors look like early in the AM on a weekend! it’s pretty funny. Don’t judge, just enjoy — hey it’s a donut shop.

Yes, i found out they are that good!!! This could be a deadly habit. Me, Miss Whole Foods and all. Now i am Duchess of Doughnuts. Wow, excellent. It is best to get there early as they do sell out. A real Doughnut Shop. Everything looks fresh too. The small shop has its regulars. Tthere are tables inside and a couple outside. The people working here seem very sweet and genuine. After a hike, i decided i deserved a treat. my car turned into Bills on its own. OMGood. Some of the biggest doughnuts I have ever seen too.

These are good enough to buy and bring to the office, and they are eaten quickly. For the area, I haven’t found a better donut shop. The staff is very nice, and they are quick to pop in & out with a box of goodness. It would be nice if they could add a signature donut — something that really helps them stand out. My favorite is their apple fritter. ;) I also greatly enjoy seeing the old men there talking about the daily gossip. It reminds me that we still have a little community in the area.

Love the donuts. Hate the 75 cent fee to use a debit or credit card to pay for the donuts.(Isn’t that illegal?) I will not go back.

Mom and pop donuts, we all love them. The Cinnamon Crumb was just fine. The mrs. loved her apple fritter. Nothing memorable good or bad.

I’ve been coming here for a long time and let me tell you, the sprinkles they put on their donuts are to die for, especially the pink ones. I actually pick each pink sprinkle off before taking my first bite of a donut and save them for the end, kinda like how I eat Lucky Charms cereal. If you’re ever curious as to where the best sprinkles can be found, it’s here. The bear claws are good too.

The donuts are your average donuts. Nothing special about the feel or flavor. And there isn’t much variety. They probably have a good idea what sells and what doesn’t. It seems like a place a lot of the seniors frequent on a regular weekday basis. I also noticed a lot of minivans and GIANT SUVs pull right up to the entrance and wait for their kids or spouse to go in and buy breakfast before they go to work and school. It’s called Bill’s, but I’ve only seen a woman working behind the counter. Maybe she’s Bill’s wife. Or maybe she’s Bill! The coffee is self-serve and decent. Could be brewed a bit stronger though. Maybe the regulars like weak coffee.
