Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kansas City-Grandview

This is a good place to stay. The staff is very professional, and they got it right. I have stayed in the area, this place is the best so far. This place is better than the Hampton down the road south of this location. The staff here appears to have their stuff together, compared to the Hampton. The rooms are comparable to the Hampton, I think the breakfast is about the same. The price was about the same too. Please Holiday Inn Express, don’t let me down, I want to stay here again!

Okay so priceline really screwed up this time. The hotel never received my reservation. Got in just before midnight and the staff had no idea what to do. I called priceline and lucky for me the night clerk named Dean just rolled in. He made everything fantastic for us. Upped the room and significantly lowered our price. Had a supet time. Amazing FULL complimentary breakfast. The room was clean. The place was quiet. Fantastic. Recommended highly.

Never in my life did I think I would ever award five stars for a review of a Holiday Inn, much less Holiday Inn Express but, alas, here we go.
I chose this hotel because of it’s location. It’s almost exactly midway between Minneapolis and Dallas, breaking up the 14-​hour road trip nicely.
My room was located directly next to the elevator which concerned me but I didn’t hear the elevator at all. The hallways are carpeted (versus tiled) which omits the sound of any and all roller bags. The rooms are new, well decorated, and have comfy beds. No road noise by the nearby interstate yet located right off the interstate for easy access on/​off. The breakfast was good and well-​stocked. Internet was fast and reliable. Not really much more one could ask for, especially for an in-​transit stay.
A few restaurants are nearby such as Applebee’s if you need a quick bite but don’t want to drive too far.
Overall, super good experience!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was great. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The breakfast area looks nice. The food is just alright. I wouldn’t expect an extravagant meal. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin so you can hear everything that’s going on in the rooms around you. We were on the second floor and it sounded like there were people stomping on the floors above us.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
If you’re going to international house of prayer (ihop), they offer a special rate.

Extremely nice rooms, with very fast wifi and great flat screen tvs. The price was very reasonable especially with the pool, workout room and continental breakfast.

A new, clean hotel with modern furnishings that’s located right off the 71 freeway. The bed was a little firm for me. Other than that, no complaints.
