The food is great and the home made pies are awesome! Seriously I have eaten at Miss Lily’s several times for breakfast and lunch. The food is very good. The pies are the best I have ever had especially those for the season. Great job folks!

The food was good but the service was not good, they had no personality and we’re very slow.

Went here for lunch. It was awful. The burgers were bland and tasteless. The«crispy» home fries were a soggy pile of potatoes on a plate. Who even serves home fries with a burger??? The waitress however, was excellent. I will not go back.

First time customers. Husband had the Housley which was a Reuben thick with corned beef and sauerkraut. I had the Towpath which was a grilled chicken with red peppers, lettuce and tomato. Both were delicious. A bit pricier than we were expecting but not too bad.

We had lunch there today with a group of nine and everything was excellent with the food, service and staff. The menu selections were varied enough to satisfy anyone. The prices are fair for what you get. Small touches in the way of herbs and spicing show their desire to make you want to come back, and we plan to. I know I want to experience a number of things on that menu!

I had heard good things about Miss Lily’s, so perhaps my expectations were too high. We got there at 11:30 am to beat the lunch«crowd» only to find that the tea party side of the restaurant was filled with senior ladies. Apparently its popular with ladies groups as a friend’s church group of senior ladies is meeting there next week. They had two wait staff trying to serve both sides of the restaurant. First problem, there was only one menu left and my party of three had to share a menu — something which we discussed as having never happened to any of us before. Luckily, the menu is very limited so it did not take but a minute or two to look at it and pass it on to our table mates. If breakfast is served all day, they sure kept that a secret. In my opinion, the food is over priced for what you get – a sandwich with chips and a pickle. The burgers are big. but almost to the point of too much beef that overpowers everything else on the sandwich. Two of us ordered the Erie Canal – ½ burger with swiss, onions on rye and the other got the Front Street which was supposed to have cranberry mayo on what is your basic bacon cheeseburger. One ordered a cup of chilli for 3.99. It took what seemed an eternity for our food to arrive. Luckily, I had a front row seat to the salad bar and dessert case. Having nothing better to do while we waited we watched with great amusement as one of the tea party ladies made the largest salad I’d ever seen. At least 5 inches high – it defied gravity. Only later when I heard the waitress talk to another party about the cost of the salad bar did it make sense… it’s 4.99 for one pass through and an additional FIVE dollars for all you can eat. The salad bar was just your usual fare plus cottage cheese – no other side salads and the croutons were sitting off on another table for only the most observant to find. This was next to the dessert case. It was not yet noon and there seemed to be one piece of this pie, sitting next to one slice of something else, plus a bundt cake with half the pieces missing. There was one pie with only one slice missing but it did have the appearance of being left overs from a previous day. Part of the charm is supposed to be its ditzy eclectic décor — each dinner plate is from a totally different dinner service, you drink out of mason jars and half the tablecloths on the diner side are askew – not sure if on purpose or not. When our food finally arrived, it was just average – nothing you couldn’t find in a zillion other restaurants in Northwest Ohio. The person who ordered the Front Street couldn’t taste whether the mayo had cranberry or not. My piece of swiss cheese was so thin I had to take my sandwich apart to see if it was really there or not. I will say that the pickle that came with it was quite tasty. At the end one of our party had to use the restroom. They wouldn’t allow her to take a short cut. She had to walk all the way thru the diner side, thru the tea party room and down a hall to get there only to find out that they were out of toilet paper! But what can you expect when you get there after 35 senior ladies have gotten there before you? We discussed our experience and we won’t ever be returning. I would say if you get there and see the tea party side is filled up — turn around and run!!!

Great food served hot and delicious. I have eaten here twice and both times it was very good. I can recommend the angel hair pasta and the Erie Canal half pound burger with grilled onions.

Stopped for breakfast at 9:45, three others in restaurant just having coffee, waitress took order, came back and said cook had cleaned grill to get ready for lunch and wouldn’t cook eggs. Ownery walked in at that time and shrugged when told of situation so I «shrugged» my jacket on, drove 10 miles to Waterville to get breakfast.

My husband and I ate here for the first time today. It was very nice. Great, fresh, made from scratch meals. The burger was very tasty, very juicy and they weren’t afraid to cook it medium rare. The peanut butter pie was to die for… very flavorful, but not too sweet or heavy. And homemade, very fresh cool whip. We can’t wait to try the breakfast and dinner menus. The service was top notch! Very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, but not overbearing. In a word… perfect!
