Love this place Did not get free donet at the factory But 3 dozen to go was great And the drive up was super slow The employee had no idea how to work smart And much to my disappointment the Donets were not fresh and warm.
Not I.

Fried dough with something on the inside and frosting on top. What is not to like? Who don’t like doughnuts? Not liking doughnuts is Un-American. You go in and you are greeted with a very clean(except for the tables. They need to keep up on them) and welcoming store. I feel totally at ease in the store. I have been to places and feel overwhelmed. You have a good selection of stuff on the menu. Be sure to consider you options as there are many. I never had poor service in my life when I deal with Krispy Kreme on the Beltline. The staff know their job and they do it well. I would love to go more than I do but doughnuts are bad for you. I might go in for a treat later. By the way they are the only business that celebrates talk like a pirate day that I am aware of. I hope to find a costume so I can wear it in there some year. Why not? How often can a person in their 30s act like that in public and no one bats an eye?

Delicious donuts. Rude drive thru person. I ordered a blueberry donut. Then corrected myself and said blueberry cake because I saw blueberry filled on the menu. Silence. I said hello? Silence. Then she rudely said«I heard you». I just laughed because I couldn’t believe how bad she sounded. Never going to the drive thru again.

Great Donuts! Even Better if you get them warm. Fantastic when you go on National Donut Day and get them free.

I kept hearing how wonderful Krispy Kreme donuts were and I would buy the prepackaged grocery store donuts and I just didn’t get it. Then a few years ago a Krispy Kreme opened within driving distance and so one day after taking the kids to Toys-R-Us for birthday money spending we decided to go get a donut. WHOKNEW? Hot donuts right off the conveyor handed out by a smiling employee… And they are free? You must be kidding me? But it is true!!! A warm, sweet melt in your mouth donut you can watch from dough to glazed donut handed right to you! We do now go out of our way when we are in the area to go get hot donuts and just to make sure we do our part to make sure they stay in business this close to home, we ask for a couple dozen hot donuts to go, as well! If you eat them soon enough you can pop them in the microwave for a few seconds and it’s almost as good as the fresh ones!!! I think I need to take a road trip, this review is making my mouth water :-)

Who doesn’t love donuts and especially Krispy Kreme. Love the fact that you can see the process of the making of the donuts and I like the free donuts that they give out every day. This place is great and I definitely recommend everyone to stop by sometimes.

I grew up on Krispy Kreme donuts! Then, most of them went out of business in the late 90s. I couldn’t believe it when I found one just down the street from my apartment when I moved to GR! My parents are so jealous! The best time to buy them is when they are hot off the press — when the red light in the window is on!!! At this location, it seems to come on right around 5pm… before dinner when everyone is driving home from work! You will see floods of kids & adults lining up just for a free donut! When you walk in, there’s a machine behind a glass window that drops batter into hot oil to cook the donut & then the conveyer belt moves the donut along to be drenched in sugary icing. As the donuts are made, the staff will hand you a fresh, hot donut from the conveyer belt! The donut will literally melt in your mouth! There’s no pressure to buy anything with your free donut, but I usually buy a coffee to go with it! The plain drip coffee is good as is their pumpkin spice latte! I have never had a bad donut here! But make sure to eat them ASAP or they will get hard very fast! They sell coffee mugs, thermos, hats & tshirts too. They even have a drive thru!

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are deee-lish and everything, but I don’t attempt to enjoy them on-site anymore, because it’s such a challenge to find a clean table. :-/

You cannot go wrong with a Krispy Kreme. I love donuts and these take top honors. This particular one always seems to have the light on and hands out free hot ones like crazy, a hot Krispy Kreme is like heaven. The staff here are always friendly and the service is quick, even when there is a line.

If you haven’t heard, when the Orange neon sign is on, you get a free original and hot off the press doughnut! It seems like every time I drive by that magical light is on, tempting me.

Extra Extra, read all about it, stop here when the lights on and get a free donut!!! Seriously, if the lights on, it means they are making fresh donuts and they will hand one out for free! My girlfriend and I stop every time we can. Most of the time we get our donut and leave, but sometimes we actually do get a drink or a couple other donuts.

There is nothing more exciting than driving down the Beltline or 28th and seeing the glow of the red light. It means to change lanes really really fast, whip in and head in for a hot donut fresh off the press. My daughter and I are known to occasionally eat donuts for dinner and its not uncommon for us to stop by KK2 – 3 times a week when the light is on. Staff is always friendly, place is always clean as is the restroom. My only suggestion would be a stepping stool in the bathroom for littles to wash their sticky fingers.

I have never seen a grown man so excited to see a light on. Boyfriend pulled in so fast that I almost broke my neck. Free donut when the light is on! And a dozen fresh donuts right off the line for $ 7.50. The girl up sold him from half a dozen to a dozen for $ 1.40 more. When she tried to sell him the donut hole cup for a $ 1 and I saw the look in his eye, I quickly said no. We have way too much food to eat before we head home.

Oh Krispy. We miss you in Chicago, with your HOTNOW donuts dripping with delicious, sweet glaze. There is absolutely nothing like getting a hot donut right off the assembly line. They literally melt in your mouth. They’re my favorite, and despite having a plethora of stuffed, covered and topped varieties, the plain glazed still stand out as the best of the best in my opinion. The folks are always friendly, and they can help you in the drive-thru or if you come in, but if you pop in when the HOT sign is lit up outside, they give you free samples right off the conveyor belt. Yummy.

One of the few of these around. In my opinion, Krispy Kreme started to dilute their brand by placing product in gas stations next to the coffee and who knows how old hotdogs. What makes this place great is the experience of being out and about and seeing that red light on triggering you to go grab a fresh outta the frier, melt in your mouth donut, or two or three or a dozen. It’s cool to watch the donuts come down the assembly line. The coffee is pretty good too. I am a fan of Starbucks, but if I’m at KK their coffee is the perfect compliment and the dark roast is plenty strong(taste the bean baby). This place is one of those treats that I have to actively resist. I try to keep visits down to a minimum and only when the hot and fresh light is on… at least I try to. A giant ball of dough in the gut is no good, but in moderation it’s one of the pleasures of life.
