I’m really happy I found this place, despite all the road construction around it. Great beer, great food, great service. I’d recommend for anyone who enjoys the brewhouse environment.

Although they are served a little smaller than the average pizza, I love their pizzas so much! The one that has goat cheese and arugula on it was very very good! Their beer is shown delightful!

I think this might be my favorite pizza I’ve ever tasted. And I think that’s all I need to say.

Walking into Harmony for the first time was like walking into a smoked meat sanctuary, the place smelled fan-taste-tical. I was drooling and I wasn’t even hungry. Amped for a much needed brew in the sunshine, my friends and I made my way through the dark and cozy indoor space. Destination; patio. As I walked through the archway out, vivid color popped before me. Bright Teal picnic tables, a flashy mural on brick, and good ol’ fashioned sunshine. Is this what heaven feels like? It’s a general rule of mine to order a flight if I’m a n00b to the brewery. So I did just that; 3 out of 5 beers were a win for me. And those 3 were great, like, party on your palette great. Their rye IPA was, by far, superior. The roasted spicy nuts deserve their own paragraph devoted to me pressuring you trying them. Go there now and get them if you adore spice. They’re heated up on the pizza belt, spiced to perfection, and addicting. Wow, I’m already on the 4th sentence of this paragraph, are you in your car on the way to Harmony yet? Because you should be. The server at the table next to us greeted some people mentioning they had a happy hour pizza special. Game changer! I hear their pizza is great, I wish our server would have let us know what was up. Alas, next time.

The crispy pig has my heart and soul. You need to try their pizza. I’ve tried three and all were good. Small place but cozy. Pizza and beer is a winning combo.

Aloha Goat! It means both hello and goodbye goat, but also an extremely delicious pizza with grilled pineapple, sausage, and goat cheese. We ordered two flights of Harmony’s beer so that we could try all of their offerings. Some were excellent, others just average but true to style. The barleywine they had on was a little light in color but really well executed. I also loved their grapefruit shandy. Harmony isn’t the biggest place, and it was overflowing with people on a Saturday at lunch. Don’t park at the Subway as they will tow your car, better luck finding a spot off a nearby residential street. Service was great! Beer cheese spread appetizer was a little sharp and a generous portion. Would definitely visit again for the pizza!

The beer is really good but I think the pizza may be even better. Plus a great range of stuff for my son to look at. He’s reading a kid Atlas while I try their beers. But, wow, the pizza rocks. I may order another

This place is great. The pizza is very fresh and the beer is the best in the world. I am looking forward to visiting their west side location. Great place.

Pizza was amazing and the Day Dream Believer Stout was very good. We got the Goat Pizza! Delicious! Other beer was Crossroads and the birthday Barley Wine! Both good.

I don’t drink beer so I can’t tell you how that is. But the pizza, oh the pizza! I think I could live on pizza, especially if it was from Harmony. My favorite are the crispy pig and Herbert. I’m a sucker for traditional pizza, which harmony is far from. However, I would never turn down a trip to Harmony!

In theory, the main draw of a brewpub should be its beer, but for Harmony that isn’t so. Don’t mistake that for a complaint though. While there are certainly better area breweries, Founders chief among them, Harmony is ultimately one of the better Grand Rapids breweries. Not great, but consistently serviceable, with a few standouts like the Crossroads Rye PA and Hoppy Farmer. The food however, is where Harmony shines… sort of. I’ve been here on a few occasions, and I keep coming back for one reason: the pizza. Tempted as I may be to try other pizzas, I cannot help but order their classic margherita pizza. At least for the time being, it is as close to an authentic Neapolitan pizza as exists in Grand Rapids. More than that, it is by far the best pizza of any style available in West Michigan. With that said, based on my past experiences here, I would warn patrons away from some of their more experimental non-pizza items. On a recent visit for example, I decided to order the daily chips and dip special, which that day happened to be a reuben dip with pita chips. Though I generally consider myself a fan of reubens, the dip itself was inedible. I went as far as sending the dish back, something I essentially never do. So the pizza is great, other items much less so. The biggest reason I cannot give this place five stars is the service. It is always poor and always slow. Now, I can understand such problems when I’ve been there on busy nights with a half an hour wait to be seated. But the problem is as bad or worse when I’ve been there at opening and been one of only two or three small parties seated. This is absolutely not a place you should visit if time isn’t something which you possess in abundance. That, coupled with the poor parking situation in Eastown, make me a much less frequent visitor than I’d like to be the case. And sadly, while I am sure the much larger Harmony Hall has its own charms, the lack of pizza there means it does not possess the same obvious draw as the original location.

Very good pizza. Service was quick and very friendly. The pretzel is good – as was the cheese spread with it is very horseradish-y. Nice selection of craft beers and cocktails. The bacon nuts are good – but a bit oily and could use a bit of salt(no surprise there.) We had the three pizzas – the pig pizza, the margherita and a make your own(caramelized onions, garlic). Good wood-fired crust. the red sauce is quite good. Overall, we think Mitten pizza is very slightly better-but these are excellent. No reservations and it can get busy on a Saturday night.

Outstanding menu selections. They have meat and veggie options. I had the ginger root soup it was amazing super refreshing. I also split a pizza with my husband he got the pig and I got the goat cheese half. It was great lots of toppings and fresh. To drink I had their seasonal drinks egg nog and winter sangria both amazing and flavorful. The waitress we had was super friendly and kind. She answered all our questions and was helpful.

First of all their menu prices on their website are out of date so I think they need to upgrade that. I ordered their crispy pig pizza the supposed to have pepperoni prosciutto and ham. Well I’ve had a lot better pizzas in my days. Who is mostly big pieces of pepperoni I don’t know where the prosciutto or the ham was and there was a sprinkling of some kind of herb very tomato sauce tasting. Where’s the cheese? $ 16.00 for the puzza. I’ll go somewhere where they put a lot more ingredients on for the same price It’s a cute place if you want to go and just have a beer. They stop serving their sandwiches after 4 o’clock so after that you get bar food items soup salad and the pizzas nothing else. Someone mentioned in a review that you could order a half pizza not true.

Yes! This place screams new and different for a brewery! This is a smaller brewery on a busy road near Grand Rapids. We had to park on the city street. This was not a problem as there were plenty of spots available. It was fairly cold outside and inside it was warm and friendly. Our hostess was quick to meet us and seat us. And the waitress was the same speed too; fast! We each tried different brews and a two pizzas! I had the grapefruit infused brew and it was delish! It was not overly done and refreshing. I had two of these! I wish I could have taken a growler home for that one. My buddy tried one of the IPA’s and he enjoyed it. We also tried some pizzas here(and I have forgotten which ones); however, both were super amazing! The cheese was ooey gooey and sooo good! I will come back just for the pizza. and some grapefruit brews too!

I stopped in on bicycle, and there was a bike rack right out front. Very much a small café atmosphere with great patio seating. The wait staff was courteous, friendly, and fun, even though I am not a regular. I tried the Crossroads(AMERICANRYE) IPA on recommendation, and I second that: great flavor, smooth body, and a clean finish. I had lunch, and tried the wood-fired 12in pizza«hey goat». Excellent thin crust, the right amount of sauce, and the goat cheese tang with the tender sausage was perfectly set off by the herbs to make one outstanding pizza! A little big for 1 person, but get it anyway! Just make some room in the saddlebags, it’s worth it. Don’t pass up Harmony on your tour of breweries: it’s well named, and well worth a visit!

I’ve been here a couple times now and I have to say the food is pretty solid. But it’s not all about the food. It’s a funky, fun place with a super great staff eager to please. I hear the beer is pretty decent too… but I’m not that into beer. Hubby likes the Brownson off the tap list. One of my favorite appetizers ever are the bacon nuts. If you’re a fan of mixed nuts — or bacon — give these bad boys a try. You won’t be sorry, they are served warm and delicious. The bread sticks are really good too, I appreciate the drizzle of balsamic, very different and yummy. I’m a fan of this style of pizza. On the thin side but not super thin that it crunches when you eat it. They have some specialties listed but you also have the option to create your own. One pizza will feed 2, probably with leftovers if you partake of any of the yummy starters. My favorite is the crispy pig which has 3 different kinds of meat, fresh mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. I’m a sucker for fresh basil on pizza. It lightens the whole thing up. Parking can be crazy, and seating is tight and if you’re downstairs it’s loud. But it’s fun and even though the parking can be a pain, you need to go.

Staff: I sat at the bar. The bartender was the nicest guy on the planet. Quick, efficient and made genuine small talk with everyone at the bar. Food: I ordered the crispy pig pizza. So good. Flavor was spot on! The dough was thin but still undercooked. If it stayed in the oven just a little longer it would have been a life changing pizza. Beer: I’m hesitant to rate the beer. I ordered the black ipa. The bartender brought me half a glass… they just ran out. The beer had a funky old taste. I was still charged for the half glass of bottom of the keg beer.

I have only had the beer I can not vouch for the food. The building looks small, but is larger than meets the eye. This is still a smaller pub though. The atmosphere was nice and the servers were all friendly. I was definitely disappointed with the beer, I had a porter not sure what they called it but it just was not that good. I continue to hear other people rave about this place so I think I need to give it a second chance. I will have to go back and get a pizza and maybe a flight of beer. My review may change pending a second visit, I am going to bookmark this place so I remember to go back for a second chance.

This place overall was«A-okay». Definitely not bad, but not memorable/great either in my opinion. We stopped by for lunch during a road trip up to Traverse City. We ordered the crispy pig and the beer cheese with pretzels. After placing the order, we noticed a sign on the wall that stated pizzas were buy one get one half off during lunch time. Sorry, but when you have a deal like that, shouldn’t the server mention it? I would have rather tried another pizza than having the appetizer — which was just average. I couldn’t taste the beer in the cheese at all, and somehow I expected it would be softer/runnier like dip/fondue but it had a spreadable cheese consistency instead. The pizza itself was also average, but at least the toppings were generous. Since I’m an out of towner, I may not return, but if I were a local, I’d consider giving them another try.
