Class act organization and just a ton of fun to attend any games. We are blessed in Grand Rapids to have an organization like this in our city.

Better than a red wings game, in my opinion. Van Andel Arena is such a great venue and Griffins games are always entertaining. Even great seats are pretty affordable and you can see all of the action on the ice.

Griffins rule… Period. There are very few things in West Michigan that are better than a Griffins game at the amazing VanAndel Arena. It’s a great night out with friends, or an even better family night out!!! Kids love it, Griff & Finn running around through the stands during the game for hugs and photo ops. Dollar beer & dollar dog nights??? Are you for real??? At a professional sporting event!!! Like I said… Griffins rule!!!

I am a fan of hockey, and a big red wings fan. I couldn’t be happier that the red wings AHL affiliate is in Grand Rapids. Going to a griffins game is always a blast, especially on $ 2 beer and hot dog night. There’s not really a bad seat in the house, and the arena is pretty new. It is well worth paying a little more for the really good seats center ice 10 – 15 rows up. You can see the whole ice and feel close to the ice. Go Griffs!

I suppose this is as much a review for the Griffins as it is for Van Andel, but we LOVE going to Griffins games. We have young children and it’s always so much fun and keeps their focus the entire night. Food and drinks are reasonably priced, not great, but not awful, tickets are moderately priced and it’s clean. We go as often as we can!

I’m not even a big hockey fan(I know, I’m a bad Michigander), but I love going to Griffins games. There is always a fun, energetic atmosphere, they do lots of giveaways and activities during breaks/intermissions, and best of all it’s pretty inexpensive! They also have great promotions. I’ve definitely taken advantage of Winning Wednesdays — if you have a ticket for a Wednesday home game & the Griffins win, you get a free ticket to the next Wednesday home game. I’ve gone to 5 games this season for the price of one ticket because they keep winning! And of course, if you’re over 21 and on a budget, you’ll want to go on a Friday night — $ 1 hot dogs and $ 1 beers(not just Bud Light either) from the time gates open at 6 until 8. It’s a great group activity.

We love going to the Griffins games, but we have found that their inflexibility and stubbornness has become just annoying. For one game, we bought 5 tickets and then found out that a friend could join us. We called the office to see if we could just switch sections(even asked if we could move to cheaper seats and lose the different) to have all 6 of us together and they weren’t willing to do anything, we ended up buying a lone seat a few rows back and switched with some people at the game, but it was just downright silly for them to not work with us. Also, the Flash Seats are a joke. We had to wait in line for 20 minutes because the Flash ticketing system wasn’t working or was slow. You are much better printing off tickets. We love the griffins and maybe this review is more on Star tickets and Flash seats, but the Griffins need to know that some of their fans are not happy with the options they are given to purchase tickets. Be prepared to spend $ 25 for an $ 18 ticket.

Not a big sports person, But love to come see the Griffins. The wife and I brought the son and his girl friend. Cant wait for the Granddaughter to be old enough to enjoy. Very fun for any age, and the Griffins are fun to watch. Cant wait to go back. A++

I went with friends to see them play at home and we had so much fun! I highly recommend families with children and people who are looking for something fun to do and relatively inexpensive. My husband was so happy that they actually served Shiner bock(a Texas beer) its hard to find this far North! They game was great and they did a lot of different events during the breaks which makes it fun too! I enjoyed myself and the stadium was really nice and very easy and cheap to park(compared to chicago). I would go back for sure!
