Best grocery store I’ve ever been in. Quality customer service and a relaxing atmosphere. Prices are fair IF you have a yes card. However, there is a lady that works there named Jill. Steer clear, she’s crazy.

We moved up from Florida where we have the ultimate grocery stores — Publix. Also, except for 4 months my whole life has been spent in the south where grocery shopping is an experience, not just an outing. Last winter we spent 4 months in Detroit, where it seems everyone is ok with only having Meijer or Wal-​Mart to do grocery shopping. I don’t personally like buying my meat and produce in the same place I buy sheets and toilet parts. So, coming here I had no idea what to expect. I left so happy! I will be doing all of my grocery shopping here, even if I pay a little more for some stuff than I would at a super-​center. The store is super clean, has a very large produce and deli section, and had brands that I’m used to purchasing that Meijer and Wal-​Mart don’t carry up here. The store manager was very friendly. The grocery cart tacked straight and didn’t have any wobbly wheels or some gross, used paper towel or dirty diaper left in it. (Yes, it happened. Thank you, dirty Kroger.)

I think this is a decent store, overall.
My only beef with the grocery section is that they frequently leave out food that either has expired or is about to. I’m typically careful to check the dates/​freshness on most of the stuff I buy, but once in a while I miss something and have to toss a yogurt or some other perishable as it has gone bad.
The deli section has improved from years past, but it kind of depends on who is working there. Some of the folks are very friendly and adept, while others are not so nice and seem to work hard at not noticing you are waiting for help.
Great selection for a place that’s not too big and I do like the meat/​fish counter as well.
The folks at the checkout have almost always been really friendly.

I had the worst experience here in store and Pam whom is wine manager was so rude and insulting. Also manager on duty. I will never come and shop at this store again!

I like this store! It is clean, modern and is never too busy.
They have a good bakery and deli operation and I like their wide selection of products within a category. For example, they have a huge selection of teas as well as wines and other items.
You won’t find the lowest prices in town here for the most part unless you are buying sale items, but the overall shopping experience, with very helpful employees, can make shopping here worthwhile!

Fresh Market just opened a month or so ago. I was very excited since it was close to work and I could shop and go grab some lunch there.
I wish I could give it two reviews for the different parts of it. They have both groceries and they also have a deli area that also serves some hot foods.
I have been shopping a couple times and really like it. It is clean and modern looking. They have some more unusual hard to find items. The wine selection is very good for a grocery store and the sale prices are not bad. Grocery = 4 Stars.
The deli… ugh…first there were three of us that went for lunch. Two of us grab some good looking paninis. The guy working was clueless. There was a little line and he just kinda walked around behind the counter not really doing anything. I had to flag him down and had him grill my sandwich. Then he ignored my coworker after I placed my order. With the multiple panini grills he was only able to grill one at a time. So after I get mine, he then takes my coworkers order. Which means mine was cold after having to wait for the other panini to grill, which the employee dropped and had to remake. Ok clueless employee aside we get back to work and the food was just not tasty. Both paninis were just bland as could be. My other coworker had mushy fruit and bland and cold food as well.
We are not going back for lunch any time soon. Maybe after a few months of operation we will try again.
