Disgusting food, won’t go back. Service wasn’t good. Food tasted like luke warm Apple Bee’s. The owners seem like real jerks too.

I was recently in the area visiting relatives and we decided to try this restaurant. You ever had one of those moments where you wondered to yourself«Wtf am I doing here, service is horrible, food is on par with with Dennys». Now I am not knocking on Dennys, Dennys is a great establishment when I was in college, flat broke, and all I could afford was microwave quality food. But that was 20 years ago, and eating at this place sure brings back memories. If you enjoy listening to the staff complaining about their job, their manager, and the customers, out loud, then you will be entertained. I think that hot dog I bought at the airport when I landed had more flavor then anything here. Sizzling steak? Stop that gimmick, how about just using quality cuts, seasoning your steaks, pop it on a hot grill to mark it and seal in the juice, it’s that simple, no gimmick needed.

If there is a haze in the air, it’s your steak, sizzling and crackling on an iron skillet as they bring it too your table. The steak and the waitstaff were equally great. The décor, is dated and kinda dirty. But the steak and veggies were very good.

My girlfriend, my mom and her husband, and myself are here on Saturday November 29th. I have heard of Branns for a while and wanted to try it, the opportunity finally arrived. This restaurant is quite huge. Shouldn’t have a problem for big groups or small parties. I have a feeling this building is quite old. It looks very worn and there is a yellow tint, probably from when smoking was allowed. The food was decent, better than average, but nothing to rave about. We started with the avocado nachos. After a couple bites, I realized there was no meat. Flagging down a server we inquired and she took them away and brought out fresh ones. I had the smoked turkey sandwich with sweet potato fries. This was a typical turkey sandwich I would expect to get anywhere. My girlfriend had the avocado burger and onion rings. She said it was good. My mom had a baked potato, standard. Her husband had the Swiss burger, he seemed to enjoy it. We decided to get dessert, was not impressed. The presentation looked nothing like the menu photos and I felt they were overpriced for what we had. Overall this seemed like another typical bar trying to become a sports bar by adding flat screen TVs, nothing really stood out to make me want to come back.

My boyfriend and I have been to Brann’s many times. I always start with their tossed salad with ranch. It’s a great sized salad with generous toppings. The ribs are probably the best thing on the menu. Their steaks are yummy too, although they can be a little inconsistent about the temp. I did get a well done steak instead of the medium steak I ordered. The waitress was glad to take it back and get me a new one. Service is always good here, we always sit in the bar area. Good drink specials and good prices on food. Definitely a good inexpensive steak dinner. Their shrimp is good too, but I would stay away from their other fish dishes. They’re a steak house for a reason.

I had the sizzling 8 oz steak with Mac and Cheese and fries. It was delicious. I had previously just had the wings(which were really good). Overall, I would definitely recommend stoping it. It was a great value and well worth the visit.

Let’s start with the fact I haven’t been herein nearly 2 years due to I’ve been boycotting it for turning me away when they decided to close over 2 hours early. Before today this was my favorite steak joint in town. Now to today visit. I had the salad bar which was simple but good. I ordered my usual the Bourbon Steak, 1 of 2 reasons I come here. Normally it is great, today it was merly very good. I tried a new side for me and got the Sweet Potato it was ok but should have just have gotten fries. The Pepsi I had was a little watery. Now for the other reason I come here their Yeast rolls with cinnamon butter. Normally they are so soft and yummy you could eat a dozen of them. Today they were BAD! More like a bland biscuit. There was no bounce to them they weren’t yeasty. I don’t think I’ll be back and that’s a shame. I would have given 2 stars but added one for past glory. I’ll hold on to my memory of Branns because the present was forgetable!

It’s a smoky, noisy, garish, blue collar meat house. The beef isn’t anywhere near choice, and much confusion exists about the distinction between what medium-rare and medium-well is. But — it is exactly what it’s supposed to be! A hard drinking, dark, dingy, down-on-your-luck kind of place. A joint where a working stiff goes to drink sorrows away on cheap beer and comfort the soul with greasy food — after a hard day at the factory. The staff is super friendly, warm, and courteous.

Used to be frequent customers Had to walk out last 3 times due to no service… smoke…distorted music… and a general lousy atmosphere. Too bad we love the food and Tommy is one of the last decent proprietors left in Wyoming. We want to come back!!!
