Advance Auto Parts

The only reason I come here is because it’s close. If you’re looking for a good auto store this is probably not it. Advance as a chain seems to let me down a lot. I’ve never had so many hassles with returns, than at these stores.
It’s a $ 15 whipper blade; I got the wrong size; it’s only been 30 minutes since I purchased it. So why do you need my personal information to return it? I’m still buying the same, blade just in the correct size. I work in retail and returns should not be this much of a hassle.

I bought a set of ceramic brake pads with «limited lifetime warranty» for my 07 accord 1 year ago from Advance auto. I recently contacted them bc the pads need to be replaced. To my surprise and disappointment, they said the warranty was only for manufacturer’s defect.
Never again will I shop at Advanced!!! Autozone is a better choice. So is O’Reilly’s. I really felt deceived by this practice thinking that the pads twill be replaced come the time I need them replaced.
I contacted their regional manager and pointed this out. He honored my argument and was able to get the pads replaced. But I feel I should not have to do this whenever a limited lifetime warranty part need to be replaced.
All my business will go to Autozone from here on as their pads and many other parts have limited life time warranty and with them it means they are warrantied for life. I should never have experimented with Advanced. Never had any issues with Autozone.
