Current reviews are a must these days. So I took my daughter here because it was the only place that accepted Medicaid for the eye exam(all because her cheapskate dad didn’t want to pay for the exam, I know TMI just being honest) Anyway it’s a small office with limited variety in frames. My daughter chose a magenta frame, cute. Big disappointment when she finally was seen by their doctor. Petite man of very few words, sped through the eye exam, his back towards us almost the entire time… I honestly don’t understand how he figured out her RX so fast. Anyhow, staff said it would take a week for her glasses… it was more than a week. Her lenses weren’t even transition(turn dark in the sunlight) and total price was $ 160 for ONE not 2 pairs of glasses. Honestly, I could have gone to Wal-Mart for a better deal. My daughter wore the glasses for 2 weeks and kept complaining that she still saw blurry. I didn’t pay much attention at first because I thought she had to adjust to the RX. After 2 weeks, I took her back to TSO and they checked her glasses and her eyes in that machine with the chin and forehead holder. Well what do ya know? My poor baby was right! The RX had been placed on the corners of the lens and not the center! The staff wouldn’t fess up if the screw up was on their end or the company that puts the glasses together… It took another week and a half to get her glasses. She is still saying she sees blurry out of the left lens… I am hesitant to go back. I feel the doctor did not examine her eyes in a thorough manner, and that her RX is wrong… only way to find out is to dish out $ 60 for an eye exam elsewhere… to be continued

Horrible! DONOTGOTOTHISPLACEFORANEYEEXAM! Took my children for an eye exam and Dr. Fan was very impatient and rude to my five year old during her eye exam! I will never go to this place again. He has been reported to my insurance on how unprofessional he is.

This business has been around for more than 8 years. The doctors are nice and inviting, the receptionist is the only one that can get rude, but she has been there since I can remember. All the other ladies are nice. I do recommend this place, the have a wide variety of glasses to choose from and are willing to explain to you the prices/diferences.

After several eye doctors in the Grand Prairie area I finally found one that knows his business and listens to his patients. I paid quiet a bit less than the other places I had been to and Dr. Kim is the only one to get my Rx correct. Thank you Dr. Kim and TSO R.W.M.

I live down the street and decided to take all my kiddos there… the staff were a bunch of young girls, that were so not interested on being there on a saturday! The room was dark and gloomy, actually kind of creepy. My 7 year old asked for me to stay with him, it ws so gloomy, and blah. The doctor was nice, but seemed rushed. After the apointments, we picked out our glasses, and i paid all my co-pays. Then when the glasses arrived a couple weeks later, i was told it was $ 40 extra. I paid them, and here we are a month later with glasses, that the screws have came out, and lenses that keep falling off. My sons werent fitted right, and he has to keep sliding them up his nose. Will not go back !!!

My son broke his glasses, I ended up having to go back. This time the staff was much more inviting and advised me they were under warranty so will be replaced at no charge.

My family and I will not be going back, the staff was more interested in cell phone activity then the guest. They didn’t even ask my husband what he wanted they just assumed he wanted glasses, then said he would have to come back to get fitted for contacts at another time because the Dr was now gone(within 10 min of eye exam), the whole experience didn’t seem professional my husband said he felt rushed during his exam, when I asked questions the receptionist gave me attitude. Terrible! go somewhere else.

Great Optometrist & consistent staff. Not a large place but they are willing to get it right if not better. I usually visit Pearle, Eyemasters or JC but didn’t want the hassle of commissions & unprofessional assistance because I needed to see well asap. I went back yesterday because a screw had come out of my new glasses. Not only were they repaired then & there but I was told they’d order me new frames & would call me within a week. Couldn’t ask for more. Thanks TSO.
