After going through a stressful ordeal with a previous wedding cake baker, I had a tasting with Crystal, the owner of Sweet Tooth Cakes. She was sweet and all smiles, patient with my indecisiveness, and my favorite part, she was incredibly honest. Even when I needed help finding a cake stand, she called me upon receiving my email and listed several options for me, including a fun option of a DIY cake stand. She even emailed me a picture of one for an example. Now onto the cake: her cakes are all made from scratch with the best ingredients, and her flavors are quite interesting(vanilla tastes like a sugar cookie!) The best part about her cakes is the mousse filling — I wish I could get my hands on that recipe. However, ranking it as an actual wedding cake… not the best«wedding cake taste» I’ve experienced. Her pricing is very fair as well.

horrible cake. strawberry filling is the only good thing. the cake itself is very thick, not dry, but very thick and almost doughy, not fluffy and light like a good cake should be. the inside is nice. the owner crystal is not organized at all, moreover the tasting was charged when most bakeries such as opulent cakes(which we went with) doesn’t charge for something as simple as a tasting. we were given two cakes to taste… which we threw away once we got home. BEAWARE of any pricing she quotes you over e-mail and print anything you have and take it into the tasting. we were told one price over e-mail and almost double the price during the tasting. very bad experience, horrible cake, even worse customer service. i hope the owner learns basic math so she can be more organized and straightforward with pricing.
