Meh. You don’t have to read much further, that word sums it up. Meh. I had the beef and chicken fajita tacos as well as the market corn. The beef was tough and under seasoned. The chicken was completely unremarkable. The red salsa lacked the spice and flavor usually found in taqueria salsa. The tortillas tasted old and stale. The corn was ok, it had a nice char on it, but the cup was approximately 50% weird tasting cooking liquid. The meat selection is very limited, the taqueria staple of pastor isn’t offered here. It was edible but I can’t imagine myself trying this place again.

DONOTGOHERE! Food is disgusting and overpriced. Ordered nachos, two burrito bowls and three drinks. $ 45!!! Nachos were gross I would rather have ballpark nachos. Way far from authentic, more like below Taco Bell. Meat was cold and like beef jerky. Overall nasty. No flavor and the food looks like nothing in the pictures they advertise. Will not recommend or go back.

I just stopped here for the first time and loved my burrito. It’s better than a Chipotles and you select what you want for your tacos, nachos, burritos including breakfast tacos! Also have ice cream and all the cold drinks. Its a Mexican version! They have Street Tacos on Tuesdays for only $ 1. I had chicken in my buritto and it was wonderful. Right next door is a $ 5 car wash. Its a big gas station with this large fast food restaurant! I will def come here again.

Unfortunately these $ 1.00 street tacos were a bit of a let down. The chicken had no flavor and in my opinion kind of over cooked. I wouldn’t consider this to be a authentic street taco. And that is what I was looking forSo unfortunately I will not be eating at this location again.

I’d stay away from the meat if I were you… I’ve been here twice in desperate times because there aren’t too many original taco places around GP that I can go for a quick lunch. When I say original, I mean chains that aren’t everywhere in the world. Not being one to trust a drive-thru restaurant at a gas station, I always go in. They have all the meats and fixin’s displayed behind a glass and I will tell you, at around noon that meat looked like it had been sitting out all day, dried up and nasty. I’ve been twice now and it still looked the same. The first time I had a chicken quesadilla… I could have done without the chicken. The second time I went I was hoping the meat would look better, but it didn’t so I just got a cheese quesadilla. The lady that made my food was very nice. If you want a vegetarian taco, burrito, or quesadilla, this might be the spot. Actually, this is only the spot if you absolutely can’t find a better taco anywhere in DFW… so, that would mean you’re not trying hard enough.

Food is good here, and it is quick at the drive thru. I will come again when I eat more than 1 taco and a soda. Then I will update my review!!!

Consistently decent food. The service leaves something to be desired, and it’s a little pricey(in my opinion) for what you get. It will certainly do when you’re craving Mexican food and you want a quick drive-thru experience.

I got the street tacos and I’m sorry they were so gross. If you want the best authentic street tacos of your life go get Fuel City Tacos on Riverside Blvd in Dallas, Texas. I will never ever GOLOCO and eat @ Go Loco again. I’d rather eat Ramen Noodles. lol

Yesterday evening was my second visit to this little gem. Who knew you could find a solid taco restaurant at a gas station in Grand Prairie? Not me! I have to say that this is the best place for fulfilling a taco craving. I have been craving tacos for some time now. Not fajitas, not flour tortillas, not taco-bell or taco-buena-cabana style tacos. I’m talking cheapie, authentic-tasting street tacos wit a soft corn tortilla filled with chicken, carnitas or beef and topped with onions and cilantro(don’t forget salsa verde y rojo!!). ANDTHISISIT! Street tacos are $ 1.59 regularly and on Tuesdays Go Loco sells $ tacos(which are teeny, half the size of the reg street tacos, but they do double up on the tortilla at least). You can choose from several different protein fillings, toppings, and sauces, all displayed prettily behind a glass window, similar to the kind you see at Subway or Chipotle. One or two or a few foil-wrapped packages later and you’re done! Go Loco sells other items in addition to the fabulous tacos – breakfast tacos and burritos(from 6:30a-10:30 a only), burritos, chips and salsa, chips and guac, rice, beans, «market» corn(homage to the elote stands!!), soft drinks, and horchata(pretty good too!) Each day they have some kind of deal going on, and bring your laptop, because there’s free wifi! I love the ambiance. The ceiling is high, with one wall composed completely of windows, so the dining area feels bright and airy. The chairs and tables seat 4, and are colorful. The restaurant is clean, with separate doors leading to the gas station store, so it really feels like it stands on its own. My only complaints were that they didn’t have any tortilla chips yesterday, which is beyond unthinkable, and that the $ 1 tacos are smaller and you are limited to the protein you can fill them with. Other than that, I already love this place and plan to become a regular. Check it out, you’ll not be disappointed!

At first I thought the food was acceptable until I felt nauseous later that day. The employees were impatient and somewhat rude. Here’s the kicker: I was the only«customer» in there the whole time. If I wasn’t starving I’d have gone somewhere else. Lesson learned.

Decently yummy and cheap prices for street tacos(what I had) although I hear their breakfast tacos and burritos are great and will have to come again another day to try them. It is very local and accessible being right off of Mayfield Road and highway 360. You pick your item, tortilla type, your meat, toppings and relish. I ordered a cup of market corn and 4 tacos to-go. One chicken verde, two beef barbacoa, and one BBQ pulled pork. The tacos arrived in a tall but small, thin container with the texture of those egg containers you get from the grocery store. Inside, there was aluminum foil and the 4 tacos lined up. I assume since most people would want to get the 3 if they wanted multiples because of their special for 3 pricing(see below), that they also used that box for my 4. The tacos were a little difficult to squeeze out of the box because of this but I won’t fault them for that. The tacos are $ 1.59 each or 3 for $ 4.39. Like I said, pretty affordable. There is also a special of a 2 taco plate with drink for something pretty cheap as well that they offered but I turned them down. The first thing I noticed about the street tacos was the fillings right as I opened the warm box. The fillings are nice and plenty for what you pay for. The meat portion took up about slightly more than half of the overall fillings. Lettuce and cheese took up a reasonable portion and the sour cream and relish that I added on(I forget what it was but it ended with«Black Bean» and was rated mildly on their«hot» factor chart) filled up the rest of the flour tortilla. When I took a taco out, the next thing I noticed(and is part of the reason why I am taking off a point from my rating) is that the tortilla is quite small. I’ve seen other street tacos that have reasonably larger tortillas to fit the fillings they put in. Either larger or fluffier but either way, Go Loco’s tortillas have no extra tortilla room for you to really nibble on. I would say that they are about 4 inches in diameter. Think about all the other tacos you have had from other reasonably fast food places. The tortillas are usually around 5 inches or so, give or take half an inch. While this small difference in inches sounds insignificant, I think that that 1 extra inch would have made my experience in eating my yummy taco a lot less messy(yes, you may make a «That’s what she said» joke). The tacos were very delicious and the relish that was added on made it spicy but not too spicy as well as slightly sweet. The meat on all of them wasn’t over or under-cooked and not greasy or anything that would deserve a bad mention. It was all very nice. :D My cup of market corn was very yummy as well. It is a small cup(think of a very small frozen yogurt or ice cream cup, maybe even one of those barbecue sauce cups from Dickey’s BBQ) filled with warm corn and topped with cotija cheese(think of something similar to Parmesan and feta) and with a little bit of reddish chili hot sauce. While it was yummy after mixed and definitely filled me up after I ate two tacos and gave the other two to a friend, at the price tag of $ 1.99(40 cents more than a full-fledged taco) and the small amount they give you, I probably would not buy this again unless I had a craving for corn or some veggie sort of side dish. I like this place a lot and it’s not every day that I can have a fast food street taco near my house. I expect to visit here again soon for late night taco snacks since apparently they close at 11pm Mon-Thur, midnight Fri-Sat, and 11pm on Sundays. Not bad hours for a nightowl like me. Also, they have a Kids Menu. I didn’t get a good look at it but they definitely do have one.
