I come here all the time always order chicken tenders and gizzards. Sometimes I ask get their regular fried chicken and they have been great each time. The wait is usually long but if I call ahead t eliminates any wait at all. I recently had an issue with one of their staff about calling ahead and the manager Tracy actually called me within minutes of my review. She took care of the situation very well and took care of me immediately. I hope to continue to do good business with them in the future. Tracy was very friendly and she seems very sincere in trying to make their staff a very friendly staff that is knowledgable of the company.

This location seems to go through workers constantly, though I’ve gone inside a few times now and always received good service and food quality. Inside the store the times I’ve been, everything has looked clean, mini-poppers cooked right, and no hassle getting Serendipity as it is kept stocked. Also it seems like someone on the soda dispenser has taken the time with it so things taste properly with no pure syrup root beer/Dr Pepper. The other thing is some chicken places if you get a 4pc tenders will give«three and a nubbin» with one of those half/small ones tossed in instead of a full-sized strip. This place so far hasn’t done that to me, so I’m really happy with them. Plus the staff will bring it out to your table if it is slower inside, which isn’t necessary, but nice of them. I haven’t done drive thru which seems to be where some have had issue so I can’t say anything there.

Ordered a chicken tender combo with fries. Drove all the way home and no fries. Manager rectified the situation in a friendly and courteous way. I’m pleased with this location.

I have been coming here for quite sometime now and I have now just been so fed up that I decided to write a review today. My hushpuppies were old and hard that I almsot broke my tooth. Everytime I go something is missing or I get something old. I recommend that sides not be pacaked until ordered. Chicken is a hit and miss. If Put in a big order then I have to wait and I know it’s fresh. All other times it’s cold and oily. They have no problem in trying to make it right to comp me but honestly I’m tired of complaining. I’m done chicken express!

Hate this place, so slow and always get the order wrong 5⁄5 at this point. It’s a shame to Chicken Express brand. The food is just fine, if they get the order right

Corn nuggets… pretty good when served hot(I still prefer Rudy’s Chicken and Church’s chicken tho) Their roll… very good(The cashier recommended the roll over the biscuit) Their sweet tea… very sweet and good(would order again if I ever visit a Chicken Express again but that is highly unlikely). This is my second time visiting this location but first time actually ordering. The first time I visited this place, I was in the drive through for five minutes and for five minutes I saw a frustrated customer trying to place an order but couldn’t because the drive thru employee told the customer to hold. No wonder why drive-thru is a zoo to get through. They take forever to take an order and when they finally take your order, you have to wait behind the other 3 or 4 cars on the other side of the restaurant waiting to receive their order at the ONE drive-thru window where you pay and receive your items at the same window. I think the problem with this Chicken Express location is that they have hired a bunch of young, playful kids primarily concerned about getting their paycheck every two weeks. They need to invest in training their employees and run a more efficient drive-thru. One employee takes the order and collects the payment and another employee prepares and gives the order to the customers. I noticed in some of the other reviews that they reuse the oil. I was expecting my chicken(I ordered 2 piece thighs) to taste like old oil but it actually tasted fresh. My only issue with the actual chicken was that there wasn’t much taste to it but that isn’t the fault of the restaurant since that is how they make their chicken. Pricing is a little on the high side in my opinion. $ 6.40 for corn nuggets, a roll and two piece chicken(no drink).

I swear they have the worst drive thru service ever. ALWAYS have to wait a long time. They seem dont have anyone actually manage the team. Other than that the roll and gravy here is pretty good

Order 2 dinners, each with 3 pieces of chicken still waiting after 20 minutes! Won’t be back anytime soon!

Not happy with food. The grease they cook the chicken in was old. Also they would not honor their coupon as stated which was a lie. They broke the Ten Commandment while pushing the Bible in the store. I will never return and do business here again..

Had the #1 combo with corn nuggets, fried okra and biscuit. Tenders were nice and crispy– menu and tenders are similar to Golden Chick. Biscuit a little dry and doesnt really complement the not-so-flavorful gravy. Fried okra was good just a bit on the greasy side. Corn nuggets were really nice– sweet buttery goodness. Hear their sweet is famous so will try that next time. Will visit again.
